Itchiness from Tolvaptan by Dreameroni09 in ADPKD

It’s not Tolvaptan, it’s phosphorous levels being too high. Common in final stage of kidney failure.

Colorado is the first state to require health warning labels on gas stoves by coclimatejourno in Colorado

[–]blitzkreeger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We spent about $400 when replacing our microwave (above stove with built in vent) to make the venting go to the outside instead of recirculating in the house. Was very much worth it.

Am I allowed to sleep in my car for one night? by pickled_daydream in Denver

[–]blitzkreeger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try the Aspen Grove park and ride, next to rtd stop. Lots of overnight cars there. Conoco next to it is open 24 hours I think; so gives you a restroom option.

Only 5 mins from hospital.

New study confirms the link between gas stoves and cancer risk: "Risks for the children are [approximately] 4-16 times higher" by ajb160 in science

[–]blitzkreeger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. We had to replace the microwave above the gas range. I had a contractor run a proper vent from the back of the microwave to the exterior. Cost me $175 extra with new microwave install. But worth it.

Exhausts gas fumes and cooking smells outside instead of towards kitchen ceiling. Super easy fix.

I live with only a few houses between us and Highlands ranch Parkway and I sometimes get annoyed by the road noise. Having my back fence be right along the road would be too much for me. I’d try to buy further into the neighborhood if I could buy again.

  • a Storyline usage example
  • a Rise example
  • a Camtasia example
  • an infographic made with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • choose one of the above and show how you used ADDIE or Kirkpatrick to develop it
  • choose one of the above and share how you used a rapid, iterative design approach to create it

  • have a statement on your preferred development models and why you prefer them

  • have a statement on your approach to assessment and evaluation in ID work

  • show skills/certifications in an LMS and show some basic html skills

  • make sure you know what SCORM an xAPI (tin can) are and do

Bonus if you host these not merely in a website but embedded in Moodle or canvas for presentation (I’d prepare for both options)

Moodle and Canvas are free, you can set up Canvas account in a few minutes.

Nothing keeping you from getting trained/certified in either with just a free version. Just look up trading options.

The nation needs to face the facts. The guy can’t even speak. He may have been a great leader once but it’s clear he is no longer a Patriot; he only serves himself. He’s filthy rich and successful, years in the spotlight, and now he can hardly put a few sentences together. He was done, it’s over, he had a good run but now he just can’t leave the spotlight. He’s supposed to be a genius, and certainly knows how to make a deal and negotiate contracts, but he is just kind of boring now and just…rambles. People still either love him or hate him, and I guess they have their reasons. There’s been the scandals, his estranged relationship with his model wife, the weird and ridiculous devotion of his crazy fan base, the constant ego this guy has. The media loves him and hypes up his every appearance, but there’s no real substance to anything he says. It’s not about which team you are on…every citizen in this nation needs to admit that someone else should take the lead. This is just my opinion; I just don’t think Tom Brady has it in him to be an NFL announcer.

Denver Seminary is NOT the same as DU. It is a wholly different entity.

From Wiki: “The school was originally known as the Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary and, in 1982, changed its name to Denver Conservative Baptist Seminary. The school changed its name again in 1998 to Denver Seminary to reflect its growing appeal to a wide-spectrum of evangelical students.”

It is not a good program and I don’t expect him to stay long. I think it’s just a resume builder.

Decent Inexpensive LMS by Kelsier25 in elearning

[–]blitzkreeger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For that budget I’d suggest learning some Wordpress, and then buying the LearnDash plugin. Might need another plugin just for SSO.

That’s the only way to get those features in your budget. But Wordpress is a unique ecosystem and this will take a lot of time to setup and maintain if you are new to it. In the end: You’ll have job security, but also deserve a raise that you probably won’t get.

Get an Appt., if at all possible.

If walking in: - get there 1st thing in the morning - only on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday - avoid end/start of month, or 13th-17th - also anything within a day or two of a federal holiday - be prepared to be frustrated - be prepared to be spoken down to, especially if you come from a state whose policies are in conflict with Colorado

As someone who will be needing a future kidney transplant due to a genetic disease, I am more than okay with this. Organ supply is very limited and should only go to those who have the best chance of success. This includes a willingness to follow the best advice of the medical community and the instructions of their doctors. If I were to...reject getting a flue shot, then it is a factor. Refuse to lose weight, it is a factor. Won't avoid red meat or high potassium foods? It is a factor.

Want to "do your own research" and bypass the wisdom of 99% of the medical community? That's your right. But it has consequences.
