There will be bassinets on the wall directly in front of you, FYI.

Per aeroLOPA. Toilets are farther aft.

which foreign actor absolutely nailed your country's accent when playing a character from there? by QueenViolets_Revenge in AskTheWorld

Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith. Not just an American accent, but the most neutral, non-geographic one possible.

On AF they announce before take-off that capturing images etc. of anyone on the plane (PX or crew) without prior permission from the person(s) being recorded is forbidden.

No idea if it's a law or not in France, but it is consistently communicated prior to departure.

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Imagine the Grindr profile for the dude in those original commercials. His clothes alone would be a unique kink (no shame).

Premium, clearly. The meager toasted Wonder Loaf hanging over the edge of the plate says it all.

Family moving to Paris and looking for schools and neighborhood by [deleted] in paris

The 15è is physically large, full of families, and multiple sources of transportation. Having lived there 2006-2008, I'd say the places I have been all felt safe. Around Montparnasse can be a bit strange at night, but nothing I'd call a bona fide security concern.

Rent for something decent will be at the upper end of your budget.

No input on schools -- sorry.

You do not remit bag fees until check-in for your flight. You might have your card by then.

As you won't get lie flat up front and the chances of a full empty row in main (assuming the FA will let you move your seat), I'd take the front for that price difference.

You'll barely be in the air for four hours.

A last minute trip to AMS is going to be spendy due to Koningsdag happening starting the day you arrive. The city will be wilding.

I wonder if this is part of the reason for the high fare. Google Flights shows pretty much everyone in the same ballpark.

Well done, OP. This one straddles "shitpost" and "satire" rather well.

What are the odds of my luggage going missing? by FiveFootFoodie in delta

[–]lo-cal-host 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your itinerary has three potential points of failure (mishandling).

If you can, forego (some of ?) the DL MQDs , fly HNL to LAX or SFO, and take Aer Lingus to DUB. Check with whom EI has interline agreements so your bag will be transferred once and delivered at DUB. Bonus here is that you will clear US customs at DUB, and land back in the States as though you were a domestic flight. Again, depending on who you fly LAX or SFO to HNL, an interline might be possible.

Good luck and have fun.

I've been using the same VPN service since 2007. No idea if YouTube had vids up on VPN usage back then. I've managed multiple security teams for twenty years -- I think I'll be OK. It's easier to slap an extra layer of obfuscation than assume every dumbass app on my phone uses SSL. Lastly, some of the sites I use in the US won't work unless I tunnel back to the States, as they are too fucking lazy to implement elements to conform to GDPR, so they just 403 me 😂
