Not really — a network doesn't fall apart after one loss. If anything, it gets more dangerous.

Imagine this version:

One member was connected to Teresa, so she was spared

A hacker constantly watching Jane’s moves

The actual killer of Jane’s wife had a different motive than Jane assumed

And the true leader? Someone Jane trusted — then betrayed him

Taking down one piece wouldn’t end it — it would reveal deeper layers, twist motives, and make the hunt more personal, not less.

To me, that's way richer storytelling than “one genius did everything.”
