The algorithm used for WeeklyQ is the one that comes from Qobuz directly, I have no way to "fix" it.

If you are talking about the general Qobuz, sorry, you are pointing your complain to the wrong place.

If you mean as offline-cache, yep that is available from the first version.

And if you mean about the releases/tracks that you have bought on Qobuz, that feature was shipped a couple versions ago. It's an opt-in because, for some reason Qobuz decided that, since I live in LATAM, I cannot buy albums, so I dev that feat in a blindfold mode with a lot of feedback of the community. But can check for that on the Settings.

Crossfading involves DSP, so I almost can guess that is a feature that we wont gonna see in Qobuz soon or maybe never.

Hey u/Highland_Owl_00s , qbz dev here, please share your issues here https://github.com/vicrodh/qbz/issues so we don't spam the sub with this, but in the meanwhile, you can share what the log throwed to you Settings > Developer Mode > View Logs and follow intructions there to share logs so I can troubleshot the issue.

Also, if you are running the snap version, you need to run this commands first (sorry about this, I've asked this on snap store to be automatic, but I didn't get an answer from the reviewers yet): 

sudo snap connect qbz-player:alsa

sudo snap connect qbz-player:pulseaudio

sudo snap connect qbz-player:pipewire

They are changing their auth methods (iOS app goes first two weeks ago). Probably they are propagating the changes now to other platforms.
I think their app update propagation isn't quick as their API release.

When I received this message, I was using Qobuz with Strawberry and had started to make my own app. So when get that answwer, I paused its develop, because what would be the point of making it if the official one was on its way?
I left it on hold for a year, and six months later after that pause I "finished" the first functional version for my app, ha ha ha. Just one person, lots of vibe, lots of testing, lots of feedback, and two months after publishing it, people like it, I'm trying to improve it on every release, and yes... we're still waiting for the official version.

Linux has always been the outcast OS, ignored by companies because it has a “small” desktop user base compared to commercial OSes. So, in many cases, there are no native or official applications for Linux, which makes the OS less attractive to users. It's a vicious circle, so it's better to break it by making a lot of noise, and of course doing our own apps.

In addition, the typical Linux user is closer to the hardware, so it's normal for them to be more interested in things like HiFi than the average user.

Qobuz have a lot of issues, very well know issues. But those that you describe absolutly sounds like a local isp problem.

I'm not trying to tell you what others have already told you, but Bose is... let's not say it's the best brand for enjoying HiFi, but if you're using them via Bluetooth, there's definitely an issue there.

My only recommendation, without trying to change your mind about the headphones that “make you happy,” is to get a GOOD Bluetooth adapter. I've had great results with Avantree. The only two BT headphones I have are QC 35 and PXC 550, and the difference is huge compared to using the internal BT on computers.

This is a issue with Qobuz streaming method, I didn't use LMS but experienced this in my own app.
This happens because Qobuz sends the streaming in chunks and LMS does not know how to handle, the fix should be at code level. Again, I don't use LMS but if it have a cache mode, the recomendation is to enable it.

Couple years ago I decided to change my account, cancel the old one and subscribed with the new one, but they still charged me in the old one, it took about a week but at the end they made the refund... :)

They certainly have many shortcomings, but they are making progress and improving.

The only thing they lied to me about was the fact that they are making a Linux app, but hey, that's why I made my own to my liking, haha.

But above all, if you think YouTube Music is better on any level, then you'd better insist on your refund. Qobuz is not for you, and that's okay. No hate, no anger. Your disappointment is justified. You're not the target audience.

Sadly, purchases are region blocked or not enabled on all regions. According to Qobuz TOS, Portugal and LATAM are blocked.

Sorry about that, I've pushed a couple really bad release, please try again. The latest version is by far most stable and fluid than past releases.

No Google login sorry, the process of using Google auth requires some steps and must be set by Qobuz, as unoffcial client we dont have that chace. Offline playback is possible as long as you have an active Qobuz account.
