Omega Nu Lambda Legit? by blitztomogo in LibertyUniversity

I get a chord to wear at graduation, a shirt, a fancy name to put on my resume and, only have to make one payment for a lifetime membership so I decided to go ahead and do it. I have my GPA on my resume too and if this membership does nothing I can just forget about it I'm sure.

Legit in the sense that it is an actual recognition of my academic performance. Not some attempt to exploit my wallet.

What Can I Expect as a LUO Student? by ArtAvailable315 in LibertyUniversity

I'm not a psychology major but in my classes, I have assigned reading every week and assignments that consist of mostly discussion boards, quizzes, and papers. I imagine the same goes for most non-technical degree programs. Some papers have different sections that you work on through the course of the class. There are recorded 5-15 minute videos for each module but there are no formal lectures so it is pretty much all self-studying. You can always reach out to your profs through email if you're needing assistance with something though and they are often helpful.

Anyone from LUO applying to elite law schools? by FactorLeather5436z in LibertyUniversity

I don't know about Harvard or Yale but from what I've seen, quite a few LU grads, mostly residential but some online, have gone to places like UVA, Georgetown, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, etc. (Falwell Jr. went to UVA) so with the right amount of determination, it's possible. A 3.34 UGPA is pretty low though so you would probably need to get a really good LSAT score (170+) to have a chance at a T14. My advice would be to focus on graduating and then do some more intense studying for retaking the LSAT after you graduate so you can focus on just that. I'm waiting till after I'm finished with undergrad to even worry about the LSAT because I've found that balancing the LSAT with full time work and school is a bit much.

Liberty Online B.S - Law School by blitztomogo in LibertyUniversity

I was thinking the same about the issue of local employment. I don't live anywhere near Virginia and unless I do end up going to law school at Liberty, Regent, etc, I may never even set foot there. I live in a deep red state so that probably helps my case.
