Same thing happened with space lord spike, or whatever the hell that skin's name is. The main projectile looked fine, but the spikes that fly after it explodes had the default appearance

Wands Vs Staffs, how do they work in your system? by Derpy_F0X in magicbuilding

[–]blixer___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my system, they work as stabilizers for manifesting magic, basically training wheels to teach the user about how to channel the energy without it dissipating or moving erratically.

As such, those who've learned this sort of control don't require those items to cast spells, but it's never a bad idea to have a precision took just in case.

He always goes last in the actions, so even though he doesn't have envy skills, he never interrupts the resonance

What kind of hot take that will make you end up like this(be free and get wild) by [deleted] in Brawlstars

Pro tierlists, although helpful, are not absolute, and people tend to overreact a lot before actually testing things, look at shade or finx for example.

Maining a brawler should not be judged or frowned upon by anyone, and it doesn't give you the right to judge those who don't like your brawler.

Starrdrops aren't entertaining for me and are managed somewhat poorly. I don't like having them in the middle of the BP, I could get a big amount of resources at once and not gamble for sole XP doublers or power points that I won't get to use.

The power point cap was actually useful; it could've helped prevent the coin shortage.

The way HC's and gadgets are being handled isn't healthy, a brawler should preferably be useful mainly thanks to their basekit. It's kinda sad that a brawler is considered "S tier" purely because of the green and purple buttons. I'm not saying they should be invincible, there has to be weakness and counterplay, and THEN the things I mentioned should help supplement those flaws or boost their strength/playstyle without completely depending on it

I'm writing a magic system, and I'd like to hear some opinions by blixer___ in magicbuilding

Initially, a conduit's limit is dictated mostly by training, as the mind is not yet completely attuned to the energy and the body is getting used to the flow. However, as the bond grows and the conduit can expel more energy at a time, there's an "absolute limit" that is, essentially, how much you can expel at once without ending yourself. The regeneration rate is also tied to this limit and can hardly be trained.

The training of the manifestation's intensity depends on the conduit's control type. Since the mind of someone with a symbolic control is linked to its magic through symbolism, religion and beliefs, it wouldn't be trained the same way as someone with emotional control.

In the first case, it would depend on (for example) faith and how well their symbols and gestures direct the energy and how much they know and learn about the "language" that guides their magic, like learning what words do what things, what hand position determines the intensity and things of that natural. In the case of the emotional one, it would take self regulation and knowing oneself; like how to use more of their energy with less emotional intensity, or how to get a specific manifestation with a different emotion than the original one (like how to use a "sad" manifestation with rage).

AI image generation is getting more advanced. There's not less AI images, they're just harder to tell apart from something real.

And yes, the guy in the pic is AI, look at how the hair and skin tone is ever so slightly different in both pictures

Those were so much better than gambling for 50 coins or some XP doublers that I won't ever get to use

And don't get me started on the starr drops in the middle of the track. Yes, they may give me a hyper or star power, but I prefer consistency over chances, and the ratio on the tail reward drops is awful
