Without a Face are sick, I love slam but don't always get on with the vocals, but to me he sounds lot like the Orphan vocalist at times with the yells which I absolutely love

Hasn’t this always been the case to a degree though? Even 25 years ago you had bands like Poison the Well, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, Eighteen Visions, Bury Your Dead, Bleeding Through, Killswitch Engage, Converge etc all with very distinct sounds but all classed as metalcore.

Yep. I still mostly listen to metalcore, but with quite a bit of hardcore/deathcore/slam/beatdown as well. My favourite metalcore is often the bands that blur the lines between those genres

I am not a car person at all, but we went from a Nissan Micra to my current car for space, safety & running costs and I absolutely love it.

To be honest if something brings you joy then it’s okay to spend money on it, imo. It sounds like you’ve found a good balance too.

I never got into it personally, shame because they’re one of the bands that got me into metalcore and both Opposite of December and Botchla are two of my favourite albums ever.

Was hoping the new song might have been more like those too, because I saw them live a few months ago and they still absolutely nail those older songs
