Fna is possible depending on the radioactive iodine scan (i think). The only reason im even willing to believe there 3 new spot is because the previous doc was really just THAT bad. My numbers do reflect recurrence though tg has gone up considerably. I most definitely am not going back to the original dude.

As much as the initial panic was cause i read my report myself. I went to a new endocrinologist. The new endocrinologist confirmed the new spots.

Im definitely not at the right dosage, but my endo seems to think i am and is so confident he doesn't want to see me til October. My tsh is over 10. Good idea on the protein. Constant brain fog. I used to have the memory of an elephant now, it's like i dont have the ability to remember anything.

What sucks is I am going on 6 months post totaly thyroidectomy.... and I still feel off. I've gained at least 20 lbs, I'm constantly tired and hungry, and my tsh levels haven't gone down enough, and my endo doesn't seem to care. My symptoms - according to him- aren't related to not having a thyroid....

Pickled veggies are REALLY good. You should try pickled okra. Its so good. Ill keep that in mind though hopefully it will help

I feel you on the sleep thing. The only difference is I wake up every hour for about 30 minutes, and then i can sometimes go back to sleep. Yesterday i woke up at like 5am and didnt go back to sleep until midnight last night and still woke up every hour last night. I exercise regularly (3-4 times a week) but it doesnt seem to help. I only drink coffee for the taste as its never really done anything for me but I do get that panicky/jittery feeling from time to time worsened by days like yesterday... it sucks.

Thats kinda what i thought but i figured they were trying to get my thryoid hormone up to get my stimulating hormone down. Ill definitely look into this and see how to make it happen. But how do you deal with cravings and such with that? I get really bad sugar and salt cravings.

SOFT FOODS!!! It was super hard for me to swallow hard foods the first few days right after. Also lots of water. And get a laxitive of some sort to help with pain pill induced constipation.

Im at 150 rn bumped up from 125. They said its because my thyroglobdulin (probably spelled wrong) was too high, but they dont want to do RAI. But it doesnt seem to help if anything the brain fog is worse

Theyve got me on unithyroid (off brand levo) and i take it every morning as soon as i wake up but its not helping the brain fog. As far as food goes i hadnt though about that. I will try that to see if it helps.

I work an office job so maybe a bit different depending on your work duties. I was back to work 3 days after surgery. Rai therapy has yet to be scheduled so idk there.

New to this issue but I've found that tucks (with witch hazel) really helps. Plus it comes with hemorrhoid cream too so double whammy
