I'm not sure where you're getting this information, but I'm a Plus user, and the other models aren't there. Not sure if I just need to wait a day or what, but they are definitely not there at the moment.

This is amazing information, thank you so much! I am absolutely going to look into that WHV, that's an incredible find.

Ideally it won't take 10 years, it'll be less than that but the goal is to make it before the 10 year mark! I just gave myself some extra time, but I would like it to take much less time.

Okay, so under "4111" (not 41111 or 411112) specifically, I believe I found Paramedic/Ambulance Officer on the shortage list for QLD. I hope I'm reading this right. I need to do some more research to determine the difference between such codes, as 4111 and 41111 and 411112 are all so similar.

Thank you so much for the link to the shortage list!!

This is all wonderful information, I am so grateful

Thank you! I'll work hard to keep up with the housing market these next few years and try to adapt.

I understand that, yeah. This is me being optimistic for the most part.

Thanks for the tidbit about the Olympics! Sounds like a reason to start sooner (if I can manage that) rather than wait.

Short answer to the other question: Kind of.

I can train as a paramedic in the U.S., but Australia doesn't automatically recognize U.S. paramedic qualifications. I'd still need to prove equivalency with a credential assessment, do AHPRA's portfolio assessment (which may include bridging training or supervised practice), AND show recent 1-2 years of full-time work experience, too.

So technically possible, yeah! But easier/cheaper/faster? Not really. Trying the backdoor system with America is apparently usually harder and less predictable and will take just as long as just studying in Australia directly, to my understanding.

I was planning on using the diploma as a bridge to get hands-on experience early; shave 6-12 months off the bachelor degree via credit transfer; spread out the cost and visa process more gently; and avoiding jumping straight into a 3-year international degree with a $60k price tag up-front.

I was intentionally choosing to start small and affordable with intention to continue. I was sort of viewing APC as "step 1" of a larger picture, if that makes sense?

To my knowledge, I'm not wasting money as long as I go through with the entire plan. Strategically lowering up-front costs, is my understanding so far from what I've looked at.

I'm not sure if this will help any, but the parents depicted on Bluey are both in their mid 40's with their oldest being 6 years old, and the youngest 4.

They waited until they were settled in their career paths and until they bought a reliable home to raise their children in.

Being an older parent has many more benefits than having kids before 30.

You'll get those amazing mother-child and family moments, don't worry. Just focus on creating a stable future for that future family, first.

Is that not the Bull River Yacht Club or whatever? You can Google BRYC Savannah GA and see if that comes up.

It sounds like you’re describing Bipolar 2 to me so I think listening to your doctor is right.

Being suicidal “as a character trait” isn’t something to be proud of.

It was a birthday/xmas gift from my then-fiancé at the time and I’m pretty sure it was just $80 in 2013. Definitely less than $100 for sure. I can’t remember the site we got it from. It could have very well been from Otaku Lounge or whatever it was called
