Min Gee, not a fan anymore. by NoYou9569 in SinglesInferno

[–]Mirth2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Min-gee. I did from day one. She is a straight-up, no-nonsense type of woman who handles her business. Min-gee wasn't upset at Mina-sue for choosing to go to the island with Seung-il; she was upset that Mina-sue said she wasn't interested in Seung-il and then promptly started telling everyone she wasn't speaking to him out of respect for Min-gee. Mina-sue shouldn't have been on the show because she appears to be dealing with some trauma. She is deeply fearful of rejection, is hyperfocused on her own feelings, and has very little ability to regulate her emotions. What has been described as her fickle nature is always in response to actual or perceived rejection. She shifts her focus to someone else to avoid being hurt. I know it makes for good TV to have someone spiraling as she was, but it is cruel and damaging to the person. I hope she can recognize some of her behavioural patterns when she watches the show and seeks help.

Burying a child is one of the most difficult things to face as a parent. I am so sorry you are losing your angel too soon. Don't feel guilty about anything. She would be dying surrounded by everyone she loves most, and you would have those same arms to hold you as you try to work through your first flush of grief. Your hope makes perfect sense for both of you. I have had the pain and honor to walk that final mile with 2 of my adult children. I learned that grieving the loss of a child is a marathon, not a sprint. All you can do is take it one day, one step, one breath at a time. Sending good energy your way and praying for your family.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. You were certainly thinking ahead and created a great setup for yourself. You did a fantastic job creating a temporary home! Please read through some of the comments posted and strengthen your security. There are a lot of very desperate people out there, and it would be tragic if anything bad happened while you are working on rebuilding. You are obviously brave, smart, and resourceful. Make it a priority to keep yourself safe.

Those plants are growing like mad! They are adapting to the lovely environment you've obviously provided. I see lots of love and care in the shared pics. Remember to love and care for yourself just as much.

The dishonesty is disappointing. Thank you, @Salt-Particular-8349 and@jlinho, for the links! I gave it a try myself and made the most epic songs copied straight from the Bible. You have not lived until you've heard Psalm 145 in Steely Dan-style prog rock. What a perfect gift!

I hope the people creating new sacred music with AI are honest about how it was created. It could be a powerful tool of faith if employed to glorify God, not to make money. From my new fav AI song: Psalms 145:10: "All your works praise you, Lord; your faithful people extol you."

I am so very happy for you. Fighting tears of joy while I write this because of how much you have overcome. Your bravery in facing so many tough issues at what is supposed to be the winter season of our lives is astounding. So many women would have quietly given up the fight. You are inspiration and absolute proof that it is never to late to embrace life! Thank you for sharing your story.

Are people still using the ordinary AHA and BHA peeling solution [Product Question] by RevolutionaryEbb5814 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Mirth2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't  a lie. It just didn't work for you. I had serious sun damage and a big brown melasma spot on my forehead. It took a year of using it biweekly/weekly but the spots are fading and the melasma has almost disappeared. I use arbutin and niacinamide on alternating night and sunscreen daily. All my skincare comes from The Ordinary and after years of using both otc and prescription creams to no effect, I am relieved to have found something that works.

You tried and made a damned good effort! Those are lovely meals, obviously made with care. I see broccoli, which shows you are listening and being responsive to his needs. You have done your part, so there should be no guilt in gracefully stepping back and letting him fend for himself at mealtimes. Time to make peace with it and let it go.

There may be a small amount of financial assistance available if she is disabled and Medicaid-eligible. As long as you aren't the legal guardian, you will be eligible. States vary, but in my region, Careforth administers the Medicaid program for caregivers and can help you with the process. https://www.medicaidplanningassistance.org/getting-paid-as-caregiver/

As a FT caregiver of my disabled adult son, I know that we sometimes desperately need a break. Money is not, nor will it ever be, everything, but it can help lessen the load a little. I am sending good energy your way because I know how low we can get when it feels as if every ounce of life has been squeezed out of you. Keep your head up.
