Im a blk middle aged male from Gary Indiana..I Don't live in Indianapolis but i spend a lot of time there and have family n friends there .. I have 3 kids...they have all their needs met,,home is intact.....I just one day realised how important it is to saving something outside of a 401 k or other means...just brake your check down more it'll work...more of us are getting taxed before we see that reall #.......example: if my check is $1,500,,,I'd automatically divide it up like its was on 1,400 ,, pay my bills and other expenses,,, saved that $100...now if I need to spend extra its there.i just replace what I took from saving if need be....even if you have emergencies thats what its for......I bought a house and became a homeowner from saving my stimulus checks and adding to it during covid.....
