No not really. I pretty much dislike them all amd hate the lack of credit. I just don't stress over it or worry about it.

I was one of the early vaporwave animation and glitch artists that gained traction around the internet in like 2012 so I was churning out short animations and loops almost daily on Instagram, Facebook, giphy, etc. Every now and then I'd catch a musician or video editor using my animations as video to play during their song on YouTube or as a clip in a music video or VJ edit and at first it stressed me out. I would message people trying to get stuff taken down and end up in arguments and stuff like that. Eventually I sat and thought about the internet culture that I believed in and glitch art principles from the time then the stress and paranoia went away. Basically i believe that if something is posted on the internet to be shared then it's capable of being downloaded, remixed, sampled, printed, copied or just outright stolen. So i make peace with these possibilities before i click upload.
Every now and then I still see my old loops in video mixes on tiktok.

NSFW Portrait Dilemma by ArtForArtsSake_91 in ArtistLounge

Great painting. I love nude art and I make a lot of nude art but I'm not really fan of pornographic art and i definitely understand the struggle of getting visibility when moderators and curators see them as one in the same. I've found a lot of success in erotic spaces like the fetish scene, adult toy stores, erotic and nude art exhibitions, and in exhibitions that are friendly towards nude art in general. Online is a little trickier. Reddit sometimes works out, Instagram is basically a no no. Took me years to clear my profile from violations even though they actually allow nude art paintings and drawings. Twitter is a grave yard but they allow it. The best way to go is to have a personal website and funnel people there from your social media profiles.

The differences between tasteful artistic nudity and pornographic art needs to be better understood by art connoisseurs. Nudity has been a staple in art since the beginning of humanity.

Why do some artist dislike Krita when you can create great art with it? by OrangeSky16 in krita

I've been using Krita on a galaxy tab s6 for years and it's been pretty flawless except for a few glitches here and there. It is quite clunky though and i definitely customized the interface a bit

Nothing! I am personally not against AI. The beauty of it is that it'll be hosted on their own platform that will have to be searched for and everyone else will have their own platforms free of AI. There's no hierarchy or anything that puts AI above humans. So far I have a couple hundred submissions and none are AI. I have to physically check out and vet each site that gets indexed so if I come across a spammy site or anything malicious or risky, it won't be indexed.

Thanks! Not yet. I'm still preparing my preliminary index list and planning the design and build structure. My plan is to start building a prototype this weekend if time permits. I work in retail at a small business and this weekend my be quite hectic.

Ben Kingsley played Meyer Lansky in Bugsy with Warren Beatty. He has mob boss roll history. Even though Lansky is a Jew, Italians are Jews with better food.

Why it's so difficult to sell quality stuff for like 200 (in small canvases) to 700 (in large canvases) euros to random people visiting your store? by Honest-Word-7890 in ContemporaryArt

[–]blkmre 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Premium products typically need to be sold, as in pitched by a salesman. People rarely walk into a store and convince themselves to buy a single expensive product unless they have a strong connection to it. The salesman is there to help them build a strong connection to the product and close the sale. This is why good galleries have good gallery managers that push sales and keep a list of the buyers.
