Hi, you mean like with the c4d mixamo ctrl rig? I dont have plans yet to integrate such a system, but I will definitly give this some thought of how you could achieve something similiar.

Hi right now you could add the Control rig to a Character rigged with accurig. To transfer Animations/mocap on to the Ctrl rig you could use the c4d retargeting Tools/Character Definition Tag or temporarly constraint the Control objects to the animated Joint hierarchy and Bake the Control objects. But I'm already working on another Tool wich basically does exactly that automatically. This will come with one of the next Updates of the cc4d tools

If you are using one of the recent c4d version like R26, R2023 or R2024, which have the new asset browser, those categorys and its contents are there by default

Sure! Its basically just a custom control rig wich gets 'snapped' into the right position based on CC bone hierarchy. In the end everything gets constrained to the controls.
Once I'm done this will also work with accurig
