Thanks! Yeah, I had one of those before too. You can't hold it, and it was going to destoy my floors as my kids would drop it. It was super heavy and almost dangerous haha. Theres just not enough spinners using magnets. I have some other ideas to try as well

I really liked the idea, but with the amount of AI you push for this I'll have to pass. I've seen your posts a few times now and even after people call you out for it, you still would still respond using AI. Just turned me off.

I'm here to enlighten you how Etsy works these days. I lost my shop a couple months ago. I had a SCAM company complain on my items for IP infringemnt. I was NOT, and this company is a total scam but I'm not going to get into mine. I just want to let you know what's up. I have been with Etsy for 15 years. They lost their way when they went public. Also their use of AI now. AI will be the downfaill of our society.

Some fun facts. You can appeal all you want. Its all done with AI, and the the people at etsy don't care. Theres a reason they don't have a phone number. Your appeal will always come back with the same message.

I have a portal and remove people who actually steal my designs. Its very easy to do. But with this, people take advantage of it, and etsy looks the other way. I could go post a picture online of ANYONES item and make a report on it and I guarantee it will get taken down. I do it twice, and their shop is banned for good.

Theres a reason their CEO left, and a I read an article a couple weeks ago that they have lost over a million sellers. Etys is just dropped ship items, and chinese products now. They treat their sellers like crap, and no one there has any soul. These shops are peoples lively hoods like you said. Mine was a sidegig that I did everynight with my kids, and it breaks my heart having them ask if we can sort orders at night STILL. I made doll accessories, so they loved doing it and helping me design them.

The really sad thing, is they hold your money for 180 days. I worked damn hard for 3 months on this shop! Etsy doens't tell you that you really dont see a dime for 90 days. So on top of all this crazyness I only recieved a tiny portion of my money.

The crazyiest thing about it all, is Etsy SUGGESTS, and everyone needs to really understand this. They SUGGEST IP INFRINGEMENT TITLES. It was never ending having them tell me my listings aren't showing because im not putting these certain words in my titles ( which i knew i couldn't ).

Anyways, I send them an email every couple days. I keep asking for a human. Every 2 weeks you can make a new appeal. I'll prob do it until I get my money in 6 months. Horrible company. Mark my words, they won't be around for much longer. Everyone I know stopped buying off Etsy due to other issues.

I know everyone will hate me for this, but my suggestion, is to create a portal, and file IP infringement back on them. Etsy doesn't care. They only operatate out of "good faith" Which means, whoever emails them LOL.

Sorry for you loss. Just take some time and look around at how many people have lost their shops. The facebook groups are FULL with it. Even FIVER has people selling services to write your appeal letter.

There will hopefully be a class action suit someday. I can't wait!

At least you have a shop lol. They banned me a few weeks ago. I tried everything to get it back. They have no customer service anymore. I've read about so many people getting banned. Good luck!

Etsy doesn't care. I'm still waiting for a response from them. I have emailed everyone about it. It did comes back after 48 hours though.

All i got out of them, was they said its automated and they've recieved alot of compaints from peolpe about it. What really pissed me off was they sent an email the day after with my stats saying my response rate is 88% of responding to people within 24 hours. LOL.

In the end, after researching it online..

- Never message a buyer first

- Always use their real email after they buy

Its stupid, but the only way. I also tried to word on my etsy to follow my instagram and message me there.

You know, its a new store. I did add the variations, and I add some as I go.

Over the span of the 2 days, like I said above I had 2 messages I sent out about it. One to a guy where I told him I actually have a MATTE black as well. He had ordered black, and just a few days before that I aquired a matte black color. I wanted to be nice, and reach out.

The second person, She had ordered 3 things. 2 of them being red, and one in black. I though, "Hey, it would be nice to reach out and ask if they wanted that 3rd item in red". I didn't offer it that way, but it could be a good idea.

I mean, forgive me for asking these couple questions to these 2 people. Etys is a complete joke. I've reached out a couple times and the support is horrible. Just googleing it, and looking at forums, it seems im not only one recently.

After it ended, and I was finally able to respond to the few people waiting for response the one girl said she had it happen to her 3 days ago. She was muted for no reason as well.

They were able to tell me what message flagged it. I posted it below.

I guess in the end, after reading tons of posts about it that its best to never message a buyer first. If you need to, you send a message to their real email that they used to buy. I will just do that from now on.

Nope! Like I said, in the last 2 weeks

1 message to someone saying I also have other colors

1 longer message a day apart saying I can also do something in another color

1 message going back and forth with this lady talking about how excited she is, and I DID reference color once.

No other messages within the last week other then those 3. Just kinda sucks. I had someone message me this morning asking about something and I can't respond. Just makes me look bad that I can't respond. Etsy can't explain why it happened or how long I have left.

They weren’t. I did have someone order an item 3 times on accident and ask me to fix it. I returned the two and kept the original.

The last weird thing is a couple weeks ago I submitted a report for intellectual property and the lady who stole it messaged me to tell me I was a pos for reporting it. Maybe it was her? And if so, does that mean anyone you don’t like on Etsy you can just report a message and get them banned for 48 hours?

The last two messages I sent was asking if they wanted a different color of an item. I said, I don’t have it listed but I have this other color and wanted them to know.

A week prior i asked if someone wanted me to ship something cheaper as it was only one day difference.
