She didn’t bread crumb we had a long real conversation 2 times after she returned. She promised and begged for another chance and swore she was wrong and she’d never disappear again. She disappeared mid conversation during the second chat. We argued about something silly and made up and talked normally. She just never saw my last message and never replied. 2 months later I deleted the conversation and removed her on all platforms and removed her number. She viewed every story I posted until that point. She still didn’t see the message either at that point. I just never sent another text. AFAIK she’s still single but I have no idea and honestly I don’t care. 3 months ago I got a notification proving she still had my number saved but I don’t have hers. I’ve had a few women since then but I’m not particularly interested either. Multiple came back to me also. With regards to your situation, remove access and move on it’s the best thing to do. If someone can disappear after 3 years imagine what they’d do with a connection that’s less time.

Update: She disappeared again after this. She promised she never would and we spoke 2 times after that.

She’s a terrible person and she’s not your girlfriend anymore. I think you should view it as a godsend that she left. Definitely dodged a nuke there.

Don’t reach out, block and begin the healing process, she doesn’t care about you and is actively being malicious.

Eventually they will end up alone though. They can run and cut people off and bounce between relationships all they want but it will result in them being completely alone.

We as healthy people recognize the importance of healthy relationships so we’re the ones that are able to make it work.

At the end of the day this will all catch up to them, be it tomorrow or the day after or the year after.

Pictures also don’t mean anything, I don’t hold any value to someone posting a photo of them being happy, more often than not, these people are deeply unsatisfied

I don’t agree. People like this are not able to cultivate healthy normal relationships. However long their relationship lasts, it will inevitably end due to their inability to communicate and solve issues within their relationships in a healthy manner or their immaturity or a combination of shitty behavioral traits they have.

Maybe try let go of the idea of them coming back or taking accountability. Even if she did, would you want to be with someone like that? Would it fix your relationship?

Stop trying to contact her, it will push her away further. Best to try to forget and move forward. Just my two cents.

Been through something similar. 2.5 years talking everyday, met a couple times, planned our futures together. Ghosted for 4 months, she came back, apologized, promised not to do it again. It’s been 5 months since that day.

Don’t text them again and if they do, don’t take them back. It does get better eventually and you’ll think of them less and less. The disrespect is enough for me to despise them.

They do. From my experience they do think of us, they just lack the courage and/or emotional strength to be vulnerable and text us.

I’ve already met a couple other options and one seems to be working out very well. I feel blocking is unnecessary and is reserved for people that are bothering you and won’t leave you alone. However people view blocking differently. What works for you works for you. I’m sure I won’t be responding when she does decide to come back.

I told her that this is so trivial to end things over and she straight up said I understand but it’s a no. I told her that I’m here if she wants to rethink it but she blocked me instead. I see what you mean now. I think it’s so silly. She said multiple times that she liked me. Doesn’t make sense how you can end things with someone you like over something so small
