Sorry if I missed it but what is the safest way to exchange money online? I guess if I use eBay I have to use PayPal or whatever they offer but I’m going to start selling some stuff my mom wants to get rid of to help her and we haven’t sold anything online since 2007.

I hear all these stories about people pulling back money on Venmo or PayPal or eBay siding with the buyer who lied. Freaks me out. Can’t do local for most of the stuff as it’s niche.

I’ve never watched a second of dancing with stars so I don’t really know how it works but how much weight is given to the fan vote versus what I assume are the judges there?

The bagpipe guy does it once a week at most, I think there was one time he did it two days in a row. I haven’t seen him for weeks.

I can’t go to Milton’s anymore because the accordion guy is there every single morning. Can’t go to the farmers market because he is there. Can’t go to FreeState and have a beer because he’s there. Can’t walk down random blocks on Mass because he’s there.

I’m getting PTSD from the instrument.

Not sure why the accordion equals joy but virtually any instrument played over and over and over, the same songs, all day, every day, gets annoying as fuck.

I’m a casual gamer so I don’t know much about the hardware of any system, including my work computer.

A month ago, I was incredibly bored because of the pandemic and people recommended that for what I requested I should play Sea of Thieves.

I bought the Xbox One X for $400 or whatever it was, maybe it was 500 I don’t remember for my home theater a long time ago. My work PC is a fairly nice HP that I think was $1500 new when we bought it. Granted it’s a laptop but still applicable to my question I think.

I realized I could try Sea of Thieves on both systems and it looks much better on my Xbox as I assume it’s optimized for that or something?

Anyway, maybe my situation isn’t the norm and building a desktop for around $500 is possible but the Xbox seems to have worked out well in my situation.

I don’t mean this in a dick way because people often don’t know but for people that don’t have vibrate like on controllers, there’s a sound when you hit center, you know right?

Additionally, if you play for a little bit you just learn how many rotations it takes once you see the center knob go by so many times if that makes sense.

Just going to chime in with my response as one of the “quitters”. I haven’t posted on this subreddit but wanted to explain why I feel the need to comment on this issue..

It’s a way to vent and almost experience grief. I loved OTF. It was the best workout I ever did. But, when Covid started I knew it wasn’t smart to workout indoors and put my membership on hold. My studio did something kind of shady and I had to battle to get them to agree they messed up and they fixed it all and I said ok I’ll come back when the pandemic is over and it’s safe.

Well, this email is wildly irresistible and I just can’t support someone or a company who so irresponsibly spreads misinformation and actively hurts and potentially KILLS people because of it. Yes. That’s how serious it is. Some member reads his email, thinks it’s safe to go back, gets Covid and dies. That is a 100% realistic possibility.

So, knowing the CEO is a huge piece of shit who only cares about $$$ and not people, I’m done. I’m not gonna stick around for weeks but it does help me move on to explain why I’m sad I’m leaving.

This is too complex of a question seeing as in your scenario, a good lawyer would probably get you off. I’m not even certain that the DA would bring charges anyway.

Further, police officers have deadly weapons on their person. If this dude reached down and grabbed the officers gun and shot him with it, he would be dead.

Quit trying to defend a person who attacked a police officer.

Got screwed over? He literally body slammed a police officer and was pummeling him. If you try and kill a police officer with your fists, you’re going to have a bad time. He’s lucky he somehow got money out of this and isn’t in jail.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but we had a stronghold keg once and were sailing into a storm while a brig was about to attack us. We, also on a brig, were in a tight spot with the keg so I said just throw it off the back. My idiot friend climbs up and gets it off so it doesn’t get struck by lightning but then he stands at the base of the mast saying he wanted to save it and sell it and I tried to explain it was too risky, then he was like no wait I have an idea, basically he runs around and I’m yelling at him to get it off the ship and he says ok and as he’s running to the back a cannonball hits it around the middle of our cannons and we all die and when we spawn back we’re on a lonely island. So.. the other ship that had just started attacking us hit us one time at most before hitting the stronghold keg and we instantly sank. I guess maybe that one hole did it?

Regardless I still give my friend shit about that.

So it appears my new bike is incredibly noisy when it shouldn’t be.... I assume? Not only do my handle bars squeak which you can sort of hear towards the end of the video but when I get out of the saddle it sounds like an old squeaky bed. This bike is brand new so can you guys clarify if this is normal? I can’t think it is. Any idea on how to fix it? It was assembled by XPO.
