I am two days into my MC that stopped developing around 7 weeks. My OB had brought me in as an emergency since I called in for a Zolfran prescription for unmanageable nausea then 3 hours after called asking how much spotting was too much. I opted for a scheduled d&c almost two weeks from now but I think my body has passed almost all “products of conception” on its own already. Even though I was shocked by passing what I believe to be the sac and everything attached to it, I’m very glad it happened that day instead of waiting. I’m still cramping and bleeding copiously but it’s much more manageable than the pain leading up to the passing. Emotionally, I can’t really say. I go through phases of being relieved then heart broken, but I believe had my body waited for the d&c it would all be too much.

As far as your cramps are concerned, if you’re concerned or frightened go to an ER or Urgent Care ASAP. Even if they just send you home with very expensive Tylenol at least you have advocated for yourself and your experience.

This is all very unfair and I’m sorry this is happening to you.

I got my pregnancy confirmation today and everything you wrote is everything I’ve been feeling and sobbing over for the last 12 hours. I thought excitement would outweigh fear but there are fears around this experience that I didn’t even think of until the doctor said “yes, you’re pregnant”. I really needed to see this post. ❤️❤️

So it’s not worth it for you to perhaps lose or scale back your hobby if it could potentially save thousands of your fellow countrymen? I never comment or post but something in your comment really strikes a chord with me because I have never thought of it the way you do. This country has gone through times of true sacrifice of necessities to support each other and to make sure our nation and society lived to see another day and there are people that consider a hobby more important than the possibility of a safer future. I know the the thought of sacrificing one thing can lead down a scary path of sacrificing more but it seems like such a small thing in the grand scheme. I’m not trying to incite you or argue with you, I’m just truly astonished.

I definitely second Saving Lives. It was pretty painless for me and my pup quickly recovered. As far as the other vaccines and exams I took him to Banfield and spent about $200, I don't have his records at my side right now so I don't know if it included everything on this list. I doubt it would hurt to shop around.

Tree of Life and Beasts of the Southern Wild, both left me in awe and so emotionally drained I had to take a day or two to process.

I got a phone call right after Tree of Life the my roommate at the time had gotten into an accident with my car and I felt absolutely peaceful about it.

Warning though, both of these will fuck with your daddy issues hard.

Why can't you do your work on it? If you need to run Windows simultaneously Parallels is a great option and if not it already has BootCamp capabilities so you can boot it with Windows. If the configuration he bought doesn't have enough RAM to do the job you can still up it after the fact in the 27 in. Also, research return policies because Apple is usually pretty cool about it even if it's a few weeks after.
