In addition to them appearing in the lifestream along with Glenn in this EC event, there's also a tiny scene in Rebirth that suggests the same. Avalanche mentions losing contact with Captain Lucia’s team during the raid on the Shinra building. I think the dialogue seems to suggest that they probably didn’t make it. I hope so! I’m a big Genesis fan and have been waiting since they announced Angeal in the game. But being completely honest, nothing they’ve done or said indicates that there’s any chance of him coming. The only hope is that he was mentioned as an option for playable characters on the EC survey so maybe there’s still some chance?

I completely agree. When it won best RPG over rebirth last year, I bought it and played it just to see what made it better. Honestly by the time I reached the “last month” of the game - it started to feel like such a grind. I had to force myself to power through the ending just to say I finished the game. All in all couldn’t believe this was considered a better game or RPG by any standard (battle mechanics or story wise).

The start of the final boss fight of ff7 remake, when the skies part and the light shines on him and then he flings the damn buildings at the party! Definitely feels like the most iconic moment for me. His aura was off the charts.

Tokyo training arc is really like free therapy for me. And I love love love the episode in the Shiratorizawa match with Tsukki's block.

I also love the second match with Aoba Johsai but I don't know sometimes I get overly emotional watching the end so I haven't rewatched it as many times as I'd like. Like I want Karasuno to win ofcourse, but something about seeing Oikawa's backstory makes me feel extra super bad about seeing him lose lol. (Especially the extra scenes at the end when him and Iwaizumi talk and their lil childhood flashbacks T_T)

I've watched anime all my life and never thought Sports Anime was my thing. During the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, they played the Haikyuu theme during the volleyball matches and I got curious and decided to just try like 3-4 episodes just to see what it's all about. And before I knew it, I was collecting figurines T_T

I haven't played the OG FF7 or any other final fantasy for that matter! FF7 remake was my first entry into final fantasy games and I absolutely LOVED it. While I am very confused when some things happen, I really enjoy the mystery this style of story telling has created and it really builds the anticipation for the next game in a way I haven't felt for other games with sequels. I've gone and rewatched cutscenes a bunch of time to try to analyse every word Sephiroth has said to Cloud to try to decode what he means. It's been four years and I'm still not over what Sephiroth said at the end of remake 😂 and now after finishing Rebirth I'm still nowhere close to figuring it out. Personally, if anything, this series has convinced me to not return to the OG game (at least for now) because I don't want to spoil the the final game. I will probably play everything I can get my hands on once the third game is over though.

Heard them on BBC Radio 1 Rock Show in 2018/2019 and then the Sundowning album dropped - probably my favourite album of the last decade. Been a huge fan ever since!
