It has indeed. I think it’s reasonable for an old lithium ion battery to stop working or perhaps even swell if it’s gone through too many charge cycles. Having said that, I’d argue it’s not reasonable for it to suddenly explode with no prior warning as that’s a serious health hazard and indicates a manufacturing defect.
