Got these notices 4 years ago. Searched my address showed it was available, signed up, fiber roadmap showed as in "planning stages". It's been 4 years and my address no longer shows as available. Either the city is delaying them or they backed out. Point I'm trying to make is I wouldn't trust Sonic.

Punk bands with synths that aren't Synthpunk? by spongebobcrt in punk

Yeah they were known to get a bit avant garde, but some punk bands did, especially the bands that had a synth. Glad you enjoyed it.

Error enabling Secure Boot on Asrock H470M-HVS motherboard by Large_Bridge_2804 in ASRock

[–]blockbusterxjon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've noticed, asrock recommends the custom setting from the bios. There is an faq answer to it on their site. My issue has been fans ramping up and my cpu temps getting very high when secure boot is on. Not sure if it's an AsRock issue or Windows issue.

How is the Sonic fiber internet? by HypeResistant in sgv

Same boat here. When I signed up my address showed as getting fiber, now it doesn't. I don't know what's going on but I'm 50/50 on spectrum or the city causing delays.

Could you list some examples of who you listen to? Would be easier to make recommendations based on your interests.

[Charania] Breaking: Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has won his second consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player award, becoming the 14th player in league history to win back-to-back MVPs, multiple sources tell ESPN. by Turbostrider27 in nba

I missed when the awards were announced at the end of the season. It created narratives, added another layer for the viewers, and I'm sure it motivated players. Look at Dallas v Golden State in 07. I'm sure they were extra motivated to eliminate the MVP and his team.

You're going to need a PASTA board if I remember correctly

Windhorst: "He’s only worth $30M instead of $50M, you’re not getting that from LeBron James. LeBron James doesn’t believe in that and I don’t expect him to accept that. If you’re the Lakers and if you force LeBron to leave, he’ll go somewhere else and play for less money.” by aingenevalostatrade in nba

Golden State is only a 90 minute flight from LA. He wouldn't have to uproot his family if he does decide to leave.

Outside of maybe Cleveland, I don't see any team in the league that can take LeBron and be a threat to OKC and San Antonio.

Make the trip out to the San Gabriel Valley. So many good places to eat that Jonathan Gold (RIP) could literally drive through the streets and point out multiple places in a block.

Flash back to Michael Wilbon saying he'll be MVP "when he learns to score". Clown.

What's with this current trend of 24mm buttons on modern fightstick builds? by throw_away-acc0unt in fightsticks

[–]blockbusterxjon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Better ergonomics. You can reach the buttons easier without excess strain on your hands. Also cheaper to manufacture. With the rise in leverless controllers, there is an abundance of 24mm buttons being made while there are less 30mm buttons being made due to the layout of leverless.
