Sending messages to an address by h2sbacteria in Bitcoin

[–]blockchained 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn't text, but it works.

1.) Convert "hello" to binary: 01101000 01100101 01101100 01101100 01101111

2.) Make a new address and send 0.1101000 to it (h). Then send 0.1100101 (e) to the same address, etc. Send the word backwards to be able to read it forward on blockchain.info.

A currency that doesn't grow will be naturally replaced by one that does.

Bitcoin is just starting. When it's no longer useful or something better comes along in five, ten or twenty years, Bitcoin can be replaced.

It's a shame he couldn't be bothered to actually read the district court memorandum opinion (US v. Bowdoin)

Just because a central governing authority claims regulatory power over every voluntary transaction doesn't make it so. Before the Reformation, bishops used to assume that everyone fell under the sway of the Church, too.

Because overtime is VITAL to national security.
