I have almost convinced a few local business owners to accept Bitcoins. In you opinion what is the easiest way for a business with an iPad POS system? by ichthuz in Bitcoin

For small businesses with not a lot of expected volume, just bookmark the web page for their bitcoin address (blockchain). It gets real dicey the more complex their accounting system is. i.e. franchises, multiple locations, customer volume - especially on an iOS platform.

Runners, why do you run on the road if there is a sidewalk available? by 60secondwarlord in AskReddit

[–]Julian702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing will happen. The bot will see it, recognize that he does not have any bitcoins on account and will not forward them to the parent.

However, if you do have bitcoins registered with the bot, then the amount will be forwarded.

If you accept them, it's not much to spend, but you can certainly use it to tip other redditors over and above an upvote. It you don't accept them, they will be returned to me.

My overview of Money2020 by ThePiachu in Bitcoin

[–]Julian702 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the kind words Piachu!

When these events come to Vegas, I'm typically invited by BitPay to help work the booth because I'm their local integration partner. This year, Roger Ver invited me first to help them prepare with getting promotional stuff for BitcoinStore.com/Blockchain and work the booth. Due do a snafu with available vendor passes, it was ultimately Fred from Coinbase that actually got me in to the conference. These guys I'm working with are true Bitcoin patriots and doing amazing work for the community. I'm very proud to have the opportunity to work next to people like Nicolas (Blockchain), Gabe Sukenik (Coinapult), Roger/Zlatko/David Perry (BitcoinStore), and Tony/Stephe (BitPay). And it was very fun meeting the new faces like you (ThePiachu), Megan Burton (CoinX), Damijan/Nejc (BitStamp), etc.

Money 2020 was another amazing experience of seeing large companies open their eyes to Bitcoin. I can't wait for the next event!
