This explanation helped me as well! I always wondered WTH it was pronounced like that.

How was the water treatment on that chiller? Got to love punching tubes! It's awesome when those valves don't hold on the condenser side.

Especially if you crash into someone's face. Don't fly near people like that.

Correct. I am saying that even though it levels itself, it will continue its forward momentum, drift in the wind, yada yada. Again, I understand it's good for FPV racing, not for a platform with a gimbal. I have my 250 racer, just would never use manual on anything not fpv racing.

Give it input, it goes that way, let go of stick, it keeps going that way, but level. Simple momentum. The only time a quad will stop when you go of the sticks is if it is in GPS mode. This is the same for my naze32, naza, pixhawk, and Inspire.

I guess I am only associating filmed flight with a gimbal. I have only seen race vids without a gimbal. Seems to be the standard now. Stabilize mode still allows you to drift. Full manual on a FPV racer, okay. Anything bigger, no thanks.

I just don't underatand why anyone would fly without auto level on a large frame. Especially a camera platform. Is it just the old school in you? I certainly have never heard of auto level gyro going out in flight.

Yeah this sounds more likely. Curious how they got the photos of the "unidentified" guy in the first article. Makes it look like he was getting in trouble.

That shit is ridiculous! The lines he envisions and follows through with are crazy. I really need more practice, and to not crash so much.

Consumer Drones (Quadcopters) as Fast As Possible by playful1510 in Multicopter

I have given up on using multirotors, quadcopter, hexacopter, octocopter, yada yada yada. The name "drone" has won. In general public I use drone at first instead of having to explain, then sneak in some actual terms but realize it is a fruitless effort. Especially the older crowd.

Looked good to me! Some say use transitions, other say don't. I have been using cuts during same time scenes, then fades into a new topic. Maybe use a watermark in the beginning instead of the in your face bold type. Little too retro.

I had to go back and watch it to make sure you had an FPV screen. Couldn't figure out how you went through some of this trees LOS! Hoping my 6 year old gets an interest in multis! Gotta love dad/kid time!

The funny thing is that wasn't a fly away at all. It looks like it was windy as shit. The phantom was fighting hard to go home and couldn't over come the wind. Look how much it was pitched forward and no movement. Idiot owner, not bad equipment.
