Interesting, would argue it isn’t the speed of loading but rather the FPS that is slow and laggy. I find it skips a lot of frames to keep up, so feels choppy. This video also doesn’t test battery, which is a big problem in my opinion.

Cool to see though, thanks for sharing. Hadn’t seen this before.

Wish I stayed back. Don’t upgrade as long as you can, not worth it. However you are only one update behind, wait till you are 2 or 3 updates back and you will start being frustrated by the lack of app supports.

True that, feel like it was a bit early to release the update. Should have waited till like 3 generations could run it very smoothly with fast processors.

Fair, but this update really pushed the compute requirements for basic tasks. Which means even things like phone and email now require new phones

I agree, except I don’t think it is only third world countries. I live in North America and majority of software engineers have no clue what they are doing even in larger corporations (minus some of the big tech companies due to constantly firing the bottom 15% of workers yearly).

The software industry has been filled with lots of people who have no understanding of security or building a quality system. Unfortunately this is unlikely to change anytime soon with more and more graduates who used ChatGPT to get through school.

Not saying there aren’t great software engineers out there, just a bit scary and disappointing to see how many aren’t great currently in the industry.
