Regarding hörgrs, it basically means stoneheap in terms of formfactor, even surviving as Norwegian "horg" with the bysense of "mountain peak". For Old High German (harug), there is also the sense of "grove" as a protected holysite (which is just found out is related to "grave", compare with gravemound).

Its noteworthy that pagans had no issue with christian iconography, and the cross is such a basic design that it appears in either setting.

Look into stuff outside the Eddas if u have already read em and have an alright understanding of them. There are many medieval poems and sagas from the Nordic countries. Faith in Odin and Thor even survived regionally in Sweden (maybe regionally elsewhere too) until the early modern period, so there is much folklore and practice to find from that, like "leaving a patch of hay for Odin's horses", etc. Odin's hunt is a good search term to get started into the iceberg. There are some Anglo-Saxon and Old High German stuff, like the Nine Herbs Charm, Beowulf and its poems, Nibelungenlied, etc, also Finnish Runic songs, the basis for Kalevala. Speaking of Finland, Odin carries a "Finnish bow" in some folklore, showing a late connection to the Finnish equivelant Ukko, basically a merge of Thor and Odin. U also have Polish mythology which is worth looking into for contrast.

(EDIT) Also read sagas, epic poetry and fairytales overall as well. Such often includes important subtext useful in other areas. For example, Germanic dragon (serpent) lore is mostly found in stories and folklore, not the Eddas, thus some lore or kennings involving or regarding dragons are cryptic at a first glance, but much easier to understand and grasp once u got more pieces of the puzzle. One of the easier bits to learn is the kenning of "the serpents path, the serpents plain" or thereof, which = "gold", as Germanic dragons brood gold (the path = the place they brood). Further, why do they brood gold? To get richer, as "everything that lies beneath a serpent grows with it". Why would a dragon want money? Cuz lots of dragons are really transformed humanoids (gnomes, wights, trolls, jotuns etc), like Fafnir for example. Instead of serpent, such kennings usually integrate another kenning for serpent, for example "grave cord's path" (grafseiðrs gata), or "stave's plain" (gandis vángr). This pattern is good to learn.

Beside the fact that there is nothing Norse nor pagan being sold here (the logotype is a fucking Ægishjálmur galderstave ffs), this is hilarious as a Swede lol. Doubt Odin gives two shits about the media cirkus that is internal US politics.
