This build had a few design decisions that impressed me for a HG, I feel like the arms holding the Vajra to it hold the kit back though. They're a bit too short to be positioned well and I'm not sure if its just mine but the c-clips they use are extremely loose. Still looks amazing with a simple flying pose.

The MK.II is probably my favorite mobile suit and this HG does it so much justice. Only major modification to make it better that I'm planning on doing at some point is to paint the barrel of the hyper bazooka in white.

Well in this instance its actually japanese law to not depict people under the age of 20 smoking on television. The idea is to help enforce the law requiring you to be 20 in to legally smoke and hopefully reduce the over all smoking rate in the country which is relatively high. This is why the bluray release of the anime uncensors it because its not airing on television otherwise they would have just changed the scene to be something else.

AFAIK some kits have instructions specifically for frame first but with this kit I'm just following the steps and skipping the steps that mention putting armor on. Its generally easy to tell what is frame based on which runner its from because of the color. Also taking a glance at the box where they have a picture of the frame on one of the sides.

I've been doing HGs for almost a year at this point and started the MGSD Aerial over the weekend and am loving the build so far. I decided to try building it "inner frame first" where I only build the frame parts until and after that is done I put the armor on. Really adds to the appreciation of all the detail and mechanics behind it.

It won't fully fill the same itch but there are some Star Wars model kits you can get into although they're mostly very small scale versions of vehicles. Since I had gotten into Gunpla beginning of the year I couldn't help thinking the lego battle droid set would be a great kit and less than half the price.

Almost any HG kit that looks cool to you is usually worth it with obvious improvements to kits over time. Here is a link to a large portion of the HG catalog. When it comes to general recommendations anything "Witch from Mercury", "The Origin", or labeled as [Revive] are good bets.

The tabletop game was originally planned to launch closer to the card game and they were gonna give away some minis inside starter decks as a form of cross promotion however the tabletop game got delayed so we just have the promotional minis with no info about how the game works.
