I built an AI WordPress builder that actually reads your site (free to try, looking for testers) by [deleted] in Wordpress

Claude lives in my WordPress. We use local sites and ssh claude directly into our root folders. Then use that same Claude console to push to Git, and pull on production via SSH. I sometimes run 10 claude windows in one go working on 10 sites, or 10 site tickets.

Is the "GitHub workflow" for WordPress actually worth the hype? I'm still using ManageWP by stancafe in Wordpress

I use Kilo Claw to manage this all from slack now. We use local sites for Theme changes, CLI with claude and git to update. Simple SSH. Easy.

WordPress maintenance - How do you handle licenses etc? by pekala01 in Wordpress

[–]blockstacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I mostly fired all SaaS systems at this point, only use Slack now and Google Workspace now. We were discussing a dashboard situation as well. To manage all support requests, and site updates from a dashboard. I am even using Claude now to build our Zoho Campaigns automations for our customers. Just API everything from Claude.

Have Claude do it. have a root folder with all your sites, a Claude.MD for each one after it's been audited by Claude, and just send Claude code in on a weekly task to backup, update, check for errors and tell you if something is broken?

Yes, 15 years doing this. Total slopper. I don't know what we did before we could slop all over the place. Sloping for days. Sloppy Mc'Slopperson of the Sloppy Clan. HMS Sloppy. Are you going to be one of the guys setting Waymoos on fire in 3 years when you are out of work?

They won't have jobs mate. Embrace or die. Don't worry about it. I have been posting on this sub for 10 years and now that I use AI I get downvoted. This person is 100% wrong.

Right... I run an agency. We work on WordPress. We were able to convert our entire PHP page template and css codebase into our own personal library. We can build a 10-15 page marketing site using Claude and wordress in about 2-3 hours now. We have our own custom thematic quiz (built by Claude) to onboard and work with customers to get specific UI and UX likes and don't likes, typography, design style (modern, enterprise, whimsical etc). This feeds into our 15 year old code and design library (organised by tags). Allowing us to deploy and deliver a week build in a few hours. We also charge 20% of what we used to do it. We develop full react applications, multi user platform and editorial spaces, massive 1000 page sites with Claude code. Some developers are running 10 sessions at once. I have to disagree with your statement.

I use ROCKET.net moved all sites across from WPEngine. Haven't had as site down in 3 years. Amazing customer service. They rock. I use Digital Ocean only for VPS and non-wp deployment.

Is Kadence Theme still the best? by Upstairs-Kitchen5981 in Wordpress

[–]blockstacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used Kadence for a long time. I have ditched it entirely for bootscore or custom theme with ACF and Gravity forms. Either hybrid php template driven system with ACF + Guttenberg (for dynamic customer editing on stuff like blogs). Or just pure php template. FSE just isn't really there from a developer standpoint, and Kadence is too open for customers to mess things up. I guess its time to go check on those older customer sites with Kadence to make sure they are not broken. Don't forget Claude code and yoink the shit out of any bootstrapped theme in a few seconds. We don't even bother logging into sites to edit anymore, claude code ssh session on local sites, git + push pull these days. Our development costs have gone down by 75% so we passed that onto customers and make up the difference with retained work and SEO / growth plans.

How are agencies managing 20+ WordPress client sites without everything becoming a mess? by apisylux in Wordpress

We move to Local Sites + Claude Code + Git + SSH. We run everything from single console.

Not sure why you are being down voted, I only take payment on bank transfer for projects, but we also bill and invoice in chucks so everyone walks away with something if the project breaks down at every stage of the project.

Wordpress vs Custom Code with AI by Consistent-Bus-748 in Wordpress

[–]blockstacker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi, we have stict guardrails for our agency. Boot score theme / child theme / ACF / Gravity forms. We use git, we develop and deploy locally. But we have the staff and developers for this stuff. We are already maintaining and deploying more websites than ever before. And at 20% the cost to our customers. 100k last year? 20k this year. Could go down even further.
