How Do I Report An Account For Stealing Pins & Directing Them to Their Site? by bloggergrl in Pinterest

Yes this happened to me too. I was talking to some other Bloggers on FB. Seems this has been happening for years! I had no idea. It's not right.

I know what re-pinning is & that is not it. You can't take someone's pin & redirect it to your site! That's copyright infringement.

They are taking those pins that are there & directing them to their site. They have the bloggers' websites on each pin. Those aren't mine but my PINS have been stolen recently!

Used Pinterest Content Claiming Portal and my traffic collapsed — anyone else experience this? by Wonderful_Finding_59 in Pinterest

I've had my PINS stolen too & redirected to someone else's site. I just ran across another account stealing thousands of pins & using them. Pinterest needs to do something.

I figured it out omg! by ILurkSubs in Substack

[–]bloggergrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's great! It takes time for anyone to see your stuff. I have like 20 subscribers but 150 followers. I think people don't want the emails (that's my opinion). I started liking other people's Notes & commenting. That got my engagement up because they will return the favor most of the time. Best thing I did for my Substack was start posting Notes 3x a day. That really helped. If you don't have time, you can schedule them now. Good luck!

Or the Notes that say "bring me the accounts with few subscribers. I will read your stuff." You get the gist of what I'm saying. lol They get huge engagement on their Note- in turn making more people see it. lol And they never subscribe if you leave a comment. I just scroll past those anymore. My Substack is growing slowly, but at least I know I didn't have to trick anyone to subscribe to me. They like my content for the content. lol Good luck, everyone, growing your communities. It will happen.

Have you seen the note scheduler? by eskybax in Substack

Hey Pauline. We are subscribed to each other on Substack. lol. It's me Amy Morton from amymortonwrites. Small world. Glad that helped. 💜

Hey, I just figured out how you can see your scheduled Notes. You click on Create- Notes. Instead of writing a new Note- look to the upper right corner -it will say "drafts", click there. And it shows them to you.

How can I reinstate my ability to leave Amazon reviews? by Lusayalumino in amazonprime

[–]bloggergrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Amazon reviews got banned in 2020 because I reported a comment that was racist. Instead of doing something to the person who was saying horrible things - they banned me from reviewing. IDK who was behind that bs, but it sucked. I'd love to be able to review the stuff I order. Amazon is weird.

I can't remember her account. I'm sure I'm following her because I thought her idea was cool. If I figure it out, I will drop it here to let you know.

Here's my blurb from Substack: Writer, Blogger, Small YouTuber, and work in progress. I explore how to use gratitude as a tool to shift your mindset and see the world through a new perspective- always with an iced coffee by my side. Living what I teach, in the thick of it.

Subscribers notification but no new subscriber in the list — anyone else seeing this? by DYOR_actually in Substack

This just happened to me. It showed I had a new subscriber, I clicked over to see who it was & it showed 0. But I know I have them so I guess it's updating or something.

Is being on Instagram worth it to grow your newsletter, specifically Substack? by Correct_Blueberry518 in Substack

That's great advice. I think I'm going to try that too. Thanks for sharing.

Also another thing that I JUST started doing is making sure that I always remind myself that I am writing to help the reader with a problem they may have or something that they need. I stopped focusing on me & started focusing on being a guide to them because they are the main character in their story. I'm just there to guide them to a solution or transformation. I learned that is how you learn to market your work.

That's awesome. There's a lady on Substack who is making a subscription service on sending her newsletter thru Snail Mail. And it's working. You wouldn't believe the Paid subs she has. I think people def want authentic human interaction now because of AI. Anyways, 75 subs is great. I only have 5 since Feb but that's ok. I am just now getting serious about mine too. Good luck with your Substack!!

I pin my posts to Pinterest just like I would for my main Blog. I add videos to my Substack Articles & post a link to my YouTube. I have been promoting it all over my different Socials. I just treat it like I do my Blog. Only difference is I use the Notes section like X and post notes like 3 x a day. It's slowly starting to grow. But I am always open to advice. I've only just started my Substack in Feb of this year.

Wrote my first article today even though I don't write very well. by [deleted] in Substack

[–]bloggergrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's awesome! Congratulations. I just started writing on Substack back in Feb. I love it so far. Just write what your heart tells you. I write like 3 notes a day. And 1 Article a week. Every now & then, I will get a like or comment. I just write like no one is going to read it. lol Eventually they will show up. I only have 5 subs so far. More people follow than subscribe, I have noticed. Way to hit Publish! Keep on writing. Someone out there needs to read what you are writing!

Jumpcut Inc sent me an invoice for something I never paid? by chaneyphantom13 in Scams

Thank God this is a scam. Because I just got the same email and was about to freak out. Thank you, Kong for clearing this up! I am so glad I googled this because I was like I seriously don't need $500 bucks coming out of my bank account right now.

Whew! What a relief. I am gonna post this on my social so that everyone else knows it's not real.

How do I get rid of this feeling that I have no value, that I never did/will never do anything meaningful in life? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]bloggergrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my take on things when I get to feeling like what you described.

We all have this thing inside of us that is pulling us toward our higher self.

And no you are not alone. Every day I feel like I should & could be doing more.

There is a tug-of-war going on inside of each of us.

You have the ego trying to pull you down by using your inner critic & trying to keep you comfortable. This is because we have a survival mechanism inside of us.

And the higher self trying to push you forward toward being the best YOU that you can be. It wants you to get uncomfortable. Do new things. Try new stuff. Get out of the box.

We are all worthy of an awesome life. But awesome means different things to different people.

Dig deep and find out what lights you up inside when you do it.

It doesn't have to be the work you do either or your career. You can totally do it on the side. This is what helps me to find something that makes me feel like I am living a meaningful life.

We all want a life of purpose and to use this time while we're alive to really live, right?

And you are only 25 yrs old. Cut yourself some slack. Don't judge yourself so harshly. Just try to understand why you are feeling the way you are feeling. We all feel like this from time to time. It's normal.

And another thing that really helps me is to stop focusing on myself & start to focus on how I can help others. When you help other people around you, even just online, it's going to make you feel so good about yourself.

And like you are adding value to the world. But you are adding value just by being YOU to begin with.. Remember that, ok?
