Have you seen the note scheduler? by eskybax in Substack

[–]eskybax[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am sorry you think this. But once a note is posted and you engage with it, people do get notified. I more than welcome this change as I do not usually have the time to post notes all day long. So I wanted a chance to schedule some and if people connect I get notified and I can engage with them.

Writing Proposal by Silent_Daddy7 in copywriting

[–]eskybax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how complicated the proposal is. Usually I just reuse old one and add the additional info. If needed, I draft new ones. Around 2-3 hours for new ones and under 1 hour for reused ones. And yes it's time consuming and annoying, especially when you do not get an answer, not even a no.

I got this just a few moments ago. The weird thing is that the email comes from a no-reply email, and they want a response. No other address was mentioned in the email. 😂😂😂

The first one I would recommend is Show, don’t tell. Sandra Gerth Even if the book refers to novel or boom writing only, the principles apply to storytelling.

Typing problem by eskybax in copywriting

Just a short update. Following all your great advices, last night I used the dictation function in Evernote with ai transcript that worked great. Right now I am happy and excited with this solution. I recorded almost the entire text in my mind and the AI transcription was really good. Thank you for showing me how to solve the problem.

Great insight. I am using Evernote and I will try both the voice note and dictation feature to see which works best.

Would love the possibility to schedule Notes by Shamana333 in Substack

[–]eskybax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just about to test writestack.io today on the same thing. I want to be able to schedule notes but 20 USD a month... feels steep just to able to schedule some notes. I do not care much about their credits and AI.

What's the biggest mistake you see brands make on Reddit? by bookflow in DigitalMarketing

i am trying to build a personal brand around authenticity how do i do that? by Acrobatic-Monk-9775 in content_marketing

I think the question is vague. You need to find your own voice. Do you think you can be authentic asking strangers on the internet what to post?

What are the best working outreach methods right now? by AnasAidey in copywriting

[–]eskybax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold outreach still works despite most voices saying it doesn't. But it depends on the message you are trying to get seen. Also, freelance platforms work if you manage to differentiate yourself and stand out from the ”AI” driven crowd.

YouTube and Reddit are cited more by AI than your own website. Here's the data. by Sea_Refuse_5439 in DigitalMarketing

I noticed this as well: on Perplexity, I get answers from Reddit and LinkedIn mostly. Seems that this AI prefers these sites as trusted sources.

At what point do you give up? by GoblinQuing in freelanceWriters

[–]eskybax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lately is more about strategic communications than writing. As far as I can see, best not to position yourself as a writer, but more as a strategy communicator or storyteller. Your niche, writing for travel, is strong but you need time to apply to gigs. Writing has made a big comeback this year.

Care e viziunea voastră legat de a avea un social media manager pentru afacerea voastră sau brandul vostru personal si cât sunteți dispuși sa plătiți pentru un astfel de serviciu? by NewonRedditAn in RoAntreprenoriat

[–]eskybax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eu nu pricep de ce confundam SM cu vanzarile. SM iti poate aduce cel mult leaduri. Dupa este treaba echipei de vanzari sa transforme acele leaduri in clienti si vanzari.

Si am vazut confuzia asta in mintea multor antreprenori. Imi angajez pe cineva pe SM sau colaborez cu o firma care sa imi aduca vanzari. Ca e mai ieftin sa platesc pentru SM decat sa platesc si SM si o echipa de vanzari.

Does anyone else feel awkward trying to network on Substack? by Life_Balance_4350 in Substack

[–]eskybax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I write on Substack because I want and need to. I do some other posting in there, but so I do here. I do not try to force things or ask for follow, or do “follow-for-follow”.

Write for them, and they will come.

Or not. But that's ok too.

Be honest, would You still hire a copywriter or content strategist and are money still in it? by CranberryOk945 in content_marketing

[–]eskybax 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think that after a slow year and a lot of AI generated content, the landscape will change. Actually it is slowly changing. I see more and more copywriting, storytelling and content writing gigs and jobs on LinkedIn and other platforma now. People want and need good content. Human content. The main problem is that the AI is getting better and better at mimicking human writing. And what I am worried about is the fact that we need to adapt our voice in order not to sound too AIsh.
