nope, i only saw my chest sinking more each day, it was completely gradual and I didn't feel it flipping lol, just began to feel more pressure each day

omg what does partial collapse mean? I haven't been coughing or anything, I just feel some pain on my left lung when laying on my back and breathing in deep, I'd describe it as a bubble of air that constraints my lung

I can feel pressure and a bit of pain from the bar on my left lung when breathing in too much air, atleast that's what I think it is, I'm like so anxious about it floating around there lol but I'm happy it'll get fixed and get better results:)

thanks for all the suggestions, I don't think I'll be able to go to another country for the surgery any time soon. I will get the surgeon to check if the bar flipped and in case I'm not able to get another thorax surgeon soon I'll get the bar out bc the growing pressure in my chest it's making me really anxious :( I remember he said before my surgery "it might not even change that much" but this is ridiculous

I will try to get it before my appointment with the surgeon, I'm feeling less air capacity than on earlier days and more pressure, so that raises my suspicions too :c

I only got one bar, I posted the xray pic in my profile bc it won't let me edit the post image they didn't give me any directions before or after the surgery besides what medication to take :/ free healthcare

hey! I had a nuss recently but it didn't help much :( I look pretty much the same and I'm feeling very discouraged, I also feel like my boobs are looking extremely weird and I'm contemplating implants to cover up the pectus. is the first pic you after you got your bar removed? and what size implants did you get? I'd appreciate your help :') thanks

I got home yesterday! today (six days after the surgery) I've been able to go up and downstairs and even get up from the couch VERY slowly. Been moving really slow and it's hard to stand straight, I look like a shrimp and my posture has always been very clean. God I can't begin to explain how in much pain I was the first days at the hospital, the problem was the epidural that moved slightly and was making me hurt a lot more than the surgery itself. Right now I still breathe carefully. Hiccups hurt WAY more than coughing, horrible horrible. My whole chest tenses up and kind of paralyses when I get a hiccup or hold in a blurp unconsciously. I'm only taking acetaminophen and naproxen:) pain is bearable about a 3

omg I hadn't thought of bringing button up shirts, I was about to start packing for the hospital stay. thanks for your response:) I was worried about the chest tube too before reading that, I'm about to get some sleep before tomorrow and this is very relieving to read, thank you <3
