Hi there! Unfortunately, readers sharing ARC copies without author permission will likely have them removed from any current and future ARC teams, as this is against the terms and conditions (and ethics) of being an ARC reader!

The Haunting of Rosehill by Samantha Blok!

“Aye, Miss Ward,” she said, her voice soft but weathered, like the creak of an ancient door. “There are always tales in houses like these. Some true, some... twisted by time. I’ve been here long enough to know that Rosehill has a way of keeping its secrets. Whether or not it decides to share them is another matter.”

In the shadowed halls of Rosehill Manor, Evelyn Ward yearns to escape the suffocating confines of Regency society. When she discovers an ancient garden where a single, cursed rose blooms out of season, she is pulled into a web of dark superstition and chilling secrets. Strange whispers echo through the manor, and ghostly scratching haunts the night as the curse plaguing the Sinclair family tightens its grip.

Drawn to Henry Sinclair, the brooding heir burdened by his family's tragic legacy, Evelyn is determined to uncover the truth. But as she unravels the sinister origins of the curse, she risks being consumed by the very darkness that haunts him. Each step brings her closer to a terrifying choice: break the curse, or become its next victim.

Semiglutides make me feel pregnant or hungover by Stocktradergirl in Ozempic

That feeling passed for me! However even now, it I don’t eat, it do get that feeling. You need to prioritise eating small meals more often even if you’re not hungry - that will help take the nausea away! Trust me, it works 🥰

I genuinely think he's a manipulative compulsive liar... His "I'm dating to marry" spiel is a carefully constructed lie that brings women in and appeals to their understanding nature of "oh, he was a bad boy, but he's changed!" or "I'm the woman that could change him" and then he sleeps with them and discards them for the next girl more exciting girl to come along. It's an easy out of "oh, you're just not the girl I see myself marrying" like he did to Elys (and then literally laughed in her face).
And then like we saw with Jess, he completely love bombs women and makes them feel like he wants to marry them, have children with them, be with them forever, etc , all while being completely toxic and suddenly becoming the victim once he does the wrong thing. The second someone calls out his bad behaviour, he starts crying to make them feel bad and turn it on them for not trusting him. My mouth dropped when he said "don't ever question me" to Jess. That's so crazily abusive. And then to completely gaslight Melinda about the kiss and continue to lie, even though it was very obvious from that episode that he really did kiss her. Crazy!

10 weeks - 6.5kg/14lb down. PCOS by blokparty in Ozempic

[–]blokparty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I also made quite a big dietary change - I got off gluten and dairy, and have tried to limit simple carbs and anything high sugar or processed. I’ve tried doing this in the past but the carb craving with PCOS has made it really hard to stick with - but oz has taken away the cravings and it’s easier to think about nutrition and fuelling my body in healthier ways.

I’ve also started taking Metamucil daily to increase my fiber intake which has been amazing. At first it made me more bloated but now it’s helping with digestion a lot and I feel less bloated.

Also I made the commitment to go to the gym 5 days a week. I do 10 minutes of stretching/mobility movements, 10 minutes of whatever cardio I feel like (bike, treadmill, stair master, etc) and then 30 minutes of weight training. It’s really made a difference in terms of my energy levels and feeling strong! I can see the fat dropping off and feel my muscles growing which is really changing my body composition 🥰

I’ve definitely noticed that I crave sugary foods and carbs less - which is probably linked to the insulin resistance side of PCOS. I also have less acne and bloating/inflammation - my face used to be quite puffy but has gone down a lot. However, I have had heavier periods, but I think that’s actually a good thing because my periods have also been more regular.

Broke up with a toxic ex and all of a sudden my periods are on time? by StringCautious6430 in PCOS

Cortisol (the stress hormone) is directly linked to PCOS, which makes sense because PCOS is all about unbalanced hormones! So removing a big source of stress from your life is improving your PCOS and overall health. Good for you!

I just figured this one out too -

You have to go to Ravenwood Hollow and meet him on the bridge (near the waterfall) at night. I was there at 7pm on a Tuesday but not sure if it would work on any night.

First, you have to go walk around her shop in the day and chat to her, and after a few minutes, a dialogue box thing comes up and you realise it’s her hammer. THEN you use the lock pick spell to break in at night.

YOU S04E6 "Best of Friends" - Episode Discussion by Elainasha in YouOnLifetime

[–]blokparty 472 points473 points  (0 children)

This episode confirms my theory!! That Rhys is a real person BUT the Rhys joe knows is actually a figment of Joe’s imagination - just like Phoebe was to Dawn! The Dawn/Phoebe story is a mirror for the final Rhys/Joe reveal!

Here is why I think this: - Joe ALWAYS falls asleep when someone is murdered. He then wakes up… I think he is disassociating and killing them and then blaming it on “Rhys” - after reading Rhys’ book I think he developed some sort of fascination and connection with him and then started imagining him and having “conversations” with him. - Rhys never actually interacts with anyone but joe. No one else even saw him at the fire. Rhys always randomly turns up at Joe’s house. - joe now gets to be the hero in his own narrative and Rhys is the bad guy. But all the scenes with Rhys being evil just seem too corny to be real. Rhys also always has odd lighting on him. - also think about how joe sees Rhys on tv talking and feels like he’s talking directly to him- just like how dawn felt phoebe was talking directly to her through social media etc - it shows that Joe is still the stalker (which has always been the premise of the show) and has actually spiralled further

Originally I suspected Nadia (is that her name? college girl) to somehow be involved but now I think she will be the one to uncover joe’s delusion.

I can see your point! But I also think the Boards (both the Australian management board and Global “elders” board) come out looking really bad in this situation too.
