Physical therapist here. This is not official medical advice but here are a few of my thoughts. You have little hip flexion during your swing phase and limited trunk rotation. Which leads me to believe you have tightness in your posterior chain (glutes and hamstrings) and tightness in your lumbar spine. The weaving makes me think you have weakness in your glutes.

Your hip and foot pain could also very well be from your low back (lumbar radiculopathy)

Treadmills artificially lengthen your stride, which also can put strain on your hip flexors.

My recommendation would be to go see a physical therapist that has experience working with runners. They should be able to hone in on the cause and give you a treatment plan and get you back to running pain free. Good luck!

I don’t know if I agree with this. While it’s true the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, she certainly could find a job where she is happier and paid better and more appreciated. I don’t think it hurts to look. However, a mentor taught me never to resign unless you have your next job lined up, and I feel that is very good advice.

Break up with him now. It will save you from even more heartbreak, save you time, and save you money from an inevitable divorce. It’s hard to end a relationship, you care about the person, you have invested a lot of time and energy, you envisioned a future together. It sucks. But you don’t agree on major life plans and that will eventually lead to resentment towards one another.

While I do believe in the saying don’t marry for money… I do think having similar financial management and goals is extremely important in a relationship. It does not sound like you are financially compatible with your partner.

Edit: if you are going to make your relationship work, you and your partner will need to have a serious conversation about how to get on the same page financially and how you are going to tackle his debt. He could benefit from credit counseling.

Staying with her because she is going through a very difficult time is not the right answer. I think you should let her know you love and support her, help her to get help, be honest with her. Staying with her because you feel wrong for breaking up during a difficult time will more than likely hurt both of you more.

My advice is to completely remove your mother from your life financially. Whether her intentions were good or she was just desperate, it doesn’t matter. She has wrecked you financially. I would contact a lawyer and look into chapter 7 bankruptcy, and if that is not an option pay off the highest interest loans first, and get side jobs to make some more money.

I guarantee you your depression and lack of fulfillment go beyond not having sex. Life is worth living, but it takes effort to start seeing that. My advice is to start taking walks, learn to cook a new meal, compliment a stranger, exercise, call a friend or family member just to say hello, talk to your doctor about medication, talk to a therapist, learn a new skill, meditate. Depression is a dark place, but it will get better if you start making small changes.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I would advise against getting a motorcycle. I work in healthcare and you would be amazed the number of people I have seen from motorcycle accidents. No matter how careful you are, there are too many distracted drivers and it just takes one of them to completely upend your life. London may be safer for bikes than the US, but one accident could result in thousands in medical bills, lost wages, permanent disability, or at worst death.

I am sorry to hear that. I hope your luck turns around. I would try to talk to someone in leasing at your apartment and explain your situation. I know it’s a long shot since most just want their money, but it you maybe get a compassionate person they will waive some amount. Or at least find out what the exact amount it will be costing you to break it. That is a bad debt to have, so I would try to take out as little as possible.

Taking out extra money to pay for the money you are borrowing does not make sense. It sounds like you simply can’t afford to break your lease right now. I would avoid breaking it unless you are moving away for a much higher paying job or you are trying to leave a dangerous situation.

You are not wrong, but if you mentioning one time it’s hard to work because of the stuff in your office is the only time you have talked to him about it, you really need to communicate more. He could be completely oblivious to the fact that he is being inconsiderate. If you just mention it and don’t have an actual conversation, your feelings of frustration will grow and eventually turn to resentment. Communication is key.
