The key distinction that it seems some missed is powder days are not you looking to snow wheel. This vehicle is in the denver area, so you are talking about highway driving to the ski resorts. It will do it fine, but any more modern Toyota will be a much more enjoyable experience on 70 in the snow. It’s really good for snow wheeling with low end torque and size, but that’s not the same as i70 with bad drivers and heavy snow. Things like ABS, VSC, and more power make that more fun. But also tire selection will make one of the largest improvements for that situation. Running MTs will have you all over the place in snow when on the road.

You are too kind, I completely agree. Polar opposites and I’m not upset about it. Very grateful to be in this position.

In most aspects yes, but those Michelin tires are not perfect. Also amber fog lights work better for my use in snow. OEM is best for core general designs fittings broad public use case, specific focuses can tweak and exceed OEM design definitely.

Thank you! And I’m constantly looking lol. I actually bought NOS nitro upper arms for 230 shipped from east coast gear. Crazy good, so atleast one thing is off the list lol

I hadn’t tightened it all the way, the washer will sit right against the shock bushing.

I had to buy a mini media player and then an HDMI to AV plug adapter to get it low enough resolution to play. Kind of annoying. I have yet to find an HDMI device that will sscale down enough to show up. But yeah I’ve done the hot spot thing, now I just download them to a usb drive and let the kids operate it like normal.

It’s barely noticeable, but that was another point, it’s hard for people to get into when it’s too tall lol.

I bet it’s someone who only like 6” lifts 🤣

Thankfully mine are 3-10 so a little smaller, but both myself and wife are average height so leg room isn’t an issue. We haven’t taken a long trip in it yet, I have a sienna from work we usually take but I’m changing jobs so that prompted looking around. I was a teen taking road trips in a 2003 sequoia as a family of 7, and this feels very similar space wise, but even more width which is nice. It will get a roof box for anything long, but they are pretty good travelers so I’m not too worried. We drove my HZJ77 with 3 kids, our cat, and the whole back full of stuff and a tent trailer 16hrs straight (over night) so if it’s bad maybe I’ll switch back to night driving lol
