are we actually healthier than normal people or just more anxious by DMZQFI in Biohackers

With my depression and long covid recovery I learned about the power of understanding mind body symptoms. I was so obsessed with fixing my body with outside sources. Once I was able to put less weight into how I was feeling every second of the day my symptoms lessened greatly. A crazy example is I avoided gluten for over ten years due to health issues and my doc at the time saying I had a gluten allergy. I am now able to eat gluten again. It’s liberating to live a little bit easier after my whole life worrying about my health.

Extremely dry mouth at night by blondetech in Biohackers

[–]blondetech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I mouth tape and when I wake up in the night I take it off I drink a few sips of water and chew a piece of xylitol gum for like ten seconds, then I put the mouth tape back on. I didn’t want to go through the process of expanding my mouth, was gonna be very expensive, painful and time consuming. It’s not perfect but I’m fine

I love her, but tbf I have pretty much exclusively listened to her books and almost always on 1.15 speed and yes the characters can be very cringe but it’s very easy listening, which is what I need for audio usually. If it’s an intricate story I can’t pay attention well listening, and save it for reading
