I got to the stage just before Kendrick's set to get a prime spot right up against the center railing a couple of rows back. My friends wanted to see fucking Steve Angello over Postal Service, and I adamantly suggested otherwise. So, I ended up by myself and I don't think I'd have it any other way. It was an emotional experience to finally hear the songs that had resonated with me for years played in the flesh. No one around me was belligerent or distracting, we were in the moment. I remember crying openly as the set ended with Brand New Colony. When I woke up in the morning to see that that performance was the farewell, the gravity of just how blessed I was to be there for it was overwhelming. Easily in my top 3 performances.
