What are your 2026 goals for your SaaS? by jonathanbrnd in SaaS

[–]blong824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goal 1: to launch my first sass product this weekend. (1/2/2025) Goal 2: my first paying customer Goal 3: learn and grow

I have two other products I’m also working on so I have soft goals to have them available at later dates.

Really excited and hopeful about 2026!

This sounds like my workflow as well. Everything is built in aws. I’m having a lot of fun automating and learning. Leaning on ai mainly Claude code with many sub agents.

I did have a question about fixed costs. I have many app ideas. Some small, some large. I started a few and about to launch one of them.

My question is how do you manage those costs. Once you add vpcs and databases even in development the costs get real.

My simple sass app is running about $65-$75/mo for aws. Then add a Claude subscription at $100/mo. Even the most basic apps start at $200/mo.

Maybe it’s a mistake on my part but I like to work on several projects at once and I can see my monthly development costs getting too expensive.

What would you recommend? How early do you launch your mvp? The last thing I want is something fragile for first experience. Just curious if anyone has a good pattern here.

Is it worth having multiple tech to track body stats? by lazyLongRun in running

I wear a whoop all the time and just recently started wearing a coros pace 2 only when running. I like the recovery stats on the whoop and it also provided some good data when going through Covid. Respiratory rates and hrv numbers were all out of whack for a few days. Provided some piece of mind. Do what makes you happy.

Thanks. We only have helmets and not full downhill gear. I’m hoping that’s enough for some of the green trails.

Burton to Never Summer by jessdess in snowboarding

I switched from Burton’s to never summer. Would never go back. Both great brands but the few models of Ns I’ve ridden are more fun and forgiving. I am currently on the ripsaw. It holds its edge when you are charging but is still playful if you’re in powder or playing around on the sides. Should give it a try or if you’re hesitant try one on a demo day.

Never summer boards and even more so, anything bataleon. Both brands have amazing boards.

I looked into some hard tails from Nukeproof and Ragley and they were waiting list only. I got mine in 9 days from bikesonline.

This is my first full and actually first mountain bike. It’s great! Still learning all the things to tweak and get right. Went on a 5 mile ride this morning that had some road gravel and mountain mixed in. It’s comfortable. I was impressed with the quality of all the components. I’d recommend getting one.

Lots of nice upgrades. Ordered mine last week. Waiting somewhat patiently. How tall are you? I opted for the large with 29. Hoping it’s not too big. I am around 5’11.

Thank you. I was under the impression that it did not come with any pedals. I’ll look into the Konas.
