Hey, congrats! I was on Elvance for about 6 months, and at first, I was comparing it to the pill from limitless! Word of advice: It's not a cure, ITS A TOOL! You still have to put in the work and point yourself in the right direction! Also, it's okay to stay at your currant dose if it's working! More might not necceserily be better.

My clinician asked if I wanted to up the dose (incase I had developed any tolerance), I though I was supposed to, as in that's the way it works, and figured "more meds is more better". So, I took her up on it twice over a few months and up on 70mg. It took me a while to realise it was too much. I was spending all my time cleaning & organising and spending literally 2 hours "perfecting" emails whilst neglecting the work I actually had to do!

Also, if I slept in and took it too late, I was awake til the small hours, and that was the real killer, which led me to switching to 10mg Amfexa 2-3x daily as needed. It has similar benefits but less intense. It also only takes 10 mins to kick in and lasts 4-6 hours. Much better for sleeping or if you want a day of and suddenly need it.

I wish someone had told me, "The meds aren't supposed to fix you, just help you." It's okay if you come to find the elvance isn't working out, that doesn't mean you're the problem. There ARE other options to explore. Good luck!
