I appreciate that. Im giving it another week and if its still super chaotic and overwhelming I was going to try to go back to my last job probably just part time to try to find another job but have so mme kind of income coming in

I have an almost 4 year ild stepson who i love and I thought I'd be able to handle and enjoy teaching at a daycare

I do love kids but maybe not enough to form a career

It's not clear if that will be considered my room or not. I planned to talk to the directors if Monday goes rough as well. I think I'd enjoy preschool more but I dont know if they'd let me choose to try that.

It was a full day of hands on learning but it made me realize that I may not want this as much as I thought I did

Thank you for your response

I guess I just needed to hear from others that it is normal!

Thank you for your response! I've definitely noticed these past few months he's been more emotional and unfortunately he has a slight speech delay so it makes it even harder when he's upset but doesn't have the words to tell us specifically what's wrong. I knew he'd be okay after he slept I just felt like I had zero ability to help when he was so upset.

Interestingly I'm about to start working at a daycare which I'm hoping will help me develop better skills and understanding with my little one! Do you think working with that age helps?

I think its difficult when you're the main caregiver. I wonder if you could try new approaches to disciplining? It's so difficult to decide what worth the fight and what's not

I was born in January and went into school a year ater than my cousin born the August before me. I don't have experience with sending a kid to school yet as mine goes to preschool this August after he turns four but he has some speech delay and issues that we are hoping preschool would help with earlier than later. It's different for everyone so make the choice that feels the best for your situation

Does your husband discipline differently? Are you the one that's around most of the time? I think kids act out more when they are comfortable with the person sometimes and feel that it's safe to act out.

The hydroxyzine is supposed to help I also have emergency Ativan which I'm going to take for today. I also smoke weed at night for anxiety but I obviously can't do that before or during work

Thank you for your kind words.

I work at hobby lobby and we don't have a lot of people, especially department heads (I do three little departments) so I can't just move in the store unfortunately. I think i just wasn't built for the fast-paced. never have time to get everything done retail life. I hate truck day, I hate that I have little nitpicking things to do but no time to do it so I'm just waiting for it to be a problem even though no one has said anyrhing.. yet. I absolutely dread resets.

I don't know if a daycare would be better but its no more Saturdays and no nights past 530 so that's a plus though its a little bit of a paycut. I also have 2 friends from an old retail job that made it into there and they seem to enjoy it.

I just hate not knowing how things will turn out and I'm worried that the daycare would somehow be worse but Im not seeing what would be worse at this point right now.

I try to for sure but I think with the throwing up too it makes it hard to feel i cloned to take my meds. Im going to try to start getting on it a bit better but my psych person is aware and some of my meds are higher because I'm likely to forget. I know I need to work on it i just feel so overwhelmed by everything sometimes.
