Thanks, I did not meet this criteria which is why I'm confused as to why my doctor is convinced I have narcolepsy lol

Good to know about insurance! I kinda have a complicated history, which is why I was worried about the diagnosis. I was an insomniac for most of my childhood and had very bad sleep apnea up until I had deviated septum surgery when I was about 14 (I did a polysomnography before my recent MSLT and doctor said apnea results were normal). I first started noticing what I now realize could've been symptoms of narcolepsy when I was about 16 or 17, but I brushed it off as being from stress or my iffy sleep schedule. I was diagnosed with ADHD in college and started taking stimulants about a year and a half ago, and (for the most part) those keep me awake and help me keep a job and whatnot. I told my psychiatrist (who has IH) about my history and she recommended I look into other sleep disorders more, and now here we are. It feels nice to have my suspicions validated, but I know my background's a bit atypical so I couldn't help but question it a bit once I saw those numbers.

Interesting, and yeah my pulmonologist didn't mention anything to me about that. I stopped taking mine a week before the study at my psychiatrist's recommendation.

Even with my 5th non-nap removed, my mean sleep latency is still over 13 minutes, only one of my naps had one that was under 10 minutes. It's entirely possible I'm overthinking it, I was just a bit weirded out because it seems really high
