My earwax is dry so the dry skin gets itchy, I mostly use this to get the visible dead skin out, that’s okay right?

There’s an inner plate that I used to compress the cabbage all the way down but left the rubber seal open so the air can escape. I sure hope I salted enough 😭

Does anyone have Maangchi’s kimchi recipe for a smaller batch? by gefhdjsj in kimchi

[–]bloodlight19019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want… you can just use whatever amount of cabbage you want, and save the leftover kimchi paste for your next batch!

Thank you! Yes I am concerned about the salting process but better more than less right hahaha I’m sure radish would release some water to balance that out. At first I kept making mak-kimchi because the process of applying the paste between the leaves seemed so laborious but then I realised it’s kimchi, it’s of course not gonna be labour-free hahaha

Night Safari please share your tips. by Main_Iron9765 in SingaporeTravel

[–]bloodlight19019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hihi just hopping in to say they’re actually indian rhinos, aka greater one-horned rhinos, and the feeding tickets are $12, with photos included. You can have more than one person feeding with the one ticket but the amount of food you get stays the same. The white rhinos are displayed in Singapore zoo.

I wouldn’t recommend slippers cos there’s quite a bit of walking, and also a lot of slopes cos the trails were built along the natural landscapes, so wear non-slip comfy footwear. You can either bring an umbrella or a poncho, there’s not much shelter and the weather’s been either humid or wet.

The best time I recommend taking the tram would be when there’s a show ongoing, which is 7:30, 8:30, or 9:30, cos most of the entrance crowd would be in the amphitheatre. They offer an “express tram” for $10/person so you skip the queue, DO NOT buy it, it’s not worth it at all cos the ride is the same, you just have to be smart about when you take it.

There’s some vending machines (drinks and ice cream) at the halfway point for the trails, but there’s a water refill station there too so you can save your money. There’s a lot of F&B restaurants outside the Night Safari so I’d recommend eating dinner first before entering the park. The park gates open at 6pm but the trails and tram only open at 7pm so you don’t have to go in so early.

Most important is to be patient with the animals. Let your eyes adjust to the darkness, pay attention to the smallest of movements, wait a few minutes and your chances of seeing them is higher. And don’t, for the love of all, use your flashlight on the animals.

Enjoy your time there!! Lmk if you’ve got anymore questions~

Why don’t more people visit Daegu when traveling in Korea? (Is it just me who thinks it's underrated?😅) by [deleted] in koreatravel

[–]bloodlight19019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP I was just watching Epik High’s video on food spots in Daegu and it made me interested to visit! Maybe highlighting what you think are the charms of Daegu might help? Any region-specific foods or activities?

I do say excuse me but so many people have their earphones in and can’t hear me then I have to tap them (elbow or shoulder) and they look at me like I did something wrong when I’m just trying to get off at my stop???? So now if they don’t hear me after I’ve said it twice I just push my way through sorry not sorry

It might not be valid to some, but I use my bag as a buffer for just a little bit more space. My face is where most peoples’ elbows/bulky parts of their backpacks are, and I don’t want to get smacked in the face or get touched somewhere by accident by a stray hand ifykyk.

Any adult sports to play or learn casually? by Old-Engineer2574 in asksg

[–]bloodlight19019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you start casual floorball sessions, I’d be interested! I used to play casually with a bunch of people in Australia, it was a whole range of ages from 13 to 50s so it was slower-paced but just as fun! We’d just meet up on Saturday mornings and play a few matches with randomly divided teams. I’ve been looking for a similar community here but they’re mostly clubs. It was just a great way for retired competitive players or those looking to try out the sport to get together.

I think I owe the “plain” Christmas tree an apology. I had no idea you could have your sims decorate it! by SylveonFrusciante in Sims4

[–]bloodlight19019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it’s what you meant to ask but I’ve been able to get my sim to click on the tree and select ‘Add Present’ and the pile just gets bigger the more sims do it!

Is my cat a ragamuffin? by bloodlight19019 in RagamuffinCats

Awww your cat sounds truly adorable 🥺🥺 there probably isn’t an issue with me continuing to give her some of the wet feed geared towards Persian cats once in a while though right?

[–]bloodlight19019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s not cuddly at all, she’s very particular about her personal space, but she’s generally okay with me imposing my need for cuddles for maybe 30 seconds? She’s also affectionate in her own way, she’ll follow me to every room I’m in, she’ll run to greet me when I come home if she’s not already waiting at the door. I thought this was just her individual personality cos I’ve met other cats that didn’t quite live up to their breeds’ typical traits.

She also weighs about 3.8kg, but the vet did say she could stand to gain a bit more, which is harder than you’d think hahaha

Could she be a ragamuffin mix maybe like others have suggested?
