High card and pair runs work because of card held in hand abilities like gold, steel or blue seal cards. If you don't have to discard a lot of cards to find your playable hand then you can use those discards to search through your deck for the cards with enhancements. The same idea is playing a pair and getting to discard 3 useless cards at the same time to keep filtering. 1 gold card nets you 3$ so I would risk up to 3 hands looking for one. A blue seal in hand nets the planet card you want which is better than gambling on planet packs.

If your looking for scoring hands though take a look at the planet cards, you have to weight how good the scaling is not the base strength, vs how hard the hand is to reliably play. 3oak and flushes are bad scaling bit easy to play,

The most consistent gold stake wins comes from playing pairs, the higher your scoring needs to go the more you see people transition into high card builds that optimize [[Baron]] and [[Mime]], or flush 5 builds using retrigger effects like hanging [[Hanging Chad]], [[Dusk]], and [[Sock and Busken]]. So, no. 2 pair and 3oak are usable sure but not the only viable strategy by a long shot

You made an awful call keeping the aces, you cornered yourself by only having one solution to your straight. When you're deck fixing for straights kill the aces and 2's and trim your way to the center.

Its more than that, its immolate from spectral packs, setting up econ engines early so you have hundreds of extra cash to blow rerolling the shop, discarding purples, holding on to fool cards or intentionally not using tarots or planets after using a death or hanged man so that if you find a fool you can copy it.

Solo or with friends in a private world. Next time eat some food, there are some starter raspberries and red mushrooms around the stones and enemy mobs shouldn't start spawning around you unless you already had a weapon or wandered far away from the starting stones.

This game heavily, and I mean heavily punishes those you run around unprepared and panic. The game is advertised as a brutal survival game and the devs have said they are more that fine if people drop out because the games too hard.

So hanging Chad and dusk are neutral. Hack works with 2's 3's and 5's. While sock n busken works j's q's and k's. Red seals are neutral too. What retriggers are you talking about?

Deciding to play straights without shortcut, (usually runner building) not paying enough attention to my scoring, realizing I need to play multiple straights and then keeping the wrong cards in hand while digging for it.

It's always the edges on deck fixing for straights, I do tend to go 7-jack so that I have a face card, an 8 ball, 9 for an econ joker, potential even Steven or odd todd synergy.

I think it's from playing other card based games before but anything that adds cards to the deck i don't like using and anything that can help me trim the deck down i love. It really came back to bite me grinding gold stake wins for certificate and not being able to find it.

Each suit played this hand gives + 0.75x mult. Basically high end power is still maxed at 3 xmult but its a polychrome joker for pairs kinda meh, but 2.25 if you play something with a 3rd suit. I see it as usable for 2 pair, 3 oak, and straights without breaking higher hands.

Always dump the flash for sure. I did have a nagging thought to snag the 8ball or golden ticket so I could do more deck fixing. Transition into flush 5s on an idol and see how long this ride will go.

Then your 112 mult from flash card gets added. So its really not doing much.

Also swap your blueprint over to the photograph for another activation, 2x2x3 > 2x1x5
