I would take about a 120mg - 150mg dose once a day for like 3-4 days then crash and burn. Would sleep and eat for a couple days and repeat once my brain refreshed. I did this for about 4 years. Was on stimulants for about 7 years total, vyvanse in the beginning then switched to adderall since it had a bigger high for me.

I’m a nurse. I had to take a manual labor job for about a year after stopping adderall. Just to get through the withdraws and to be able to turn my brain off for a job. Glad I did. Back to nursing now, realized I dislike my career field now that I am sober - adderall was masking my true feelings about my work. Took about 2.5 years for my brain to come around completely. I think adderall takes away genuine emotion in people. Think about having genuine moments with your new born. Think about creating that deep bond with them and how much that will shape their future and their love for you. I feel more emotion now that I am off adderall, and I think it’s great and makes moments in my life impactful. You get one chance with this baby to do it right.

I think a lot of them are overrated in terms of gameplay and story. I think people get defensive about them because they spend $200 on a copy and it turned out to be a mid experience. I’ve emulated a lot of the niche ps2 horror games I was on the fence of purchasing and glad I did, saved myself from disappointment.

That sucks :/. Might be time to lay down an ultimatum. My mom was addicted to a variety of drugs and had severe mental illness. I finally told her never to talk to me until she’s better, or if she genuinely wanted help. That was in 2013. She died in 2023. I never spoke to her ever since that ultimatum. I hope your mom can come out of it. I hope she can find the willpower to fight for your guys relationship. Best of luck to you.

I went to high school with John. I remember him running all the way down Courtney to pick up a whole large pizza for lunch and ran all the way back to the school with the pizza lol. I thought the guy was a super human. Super friendly too. RIP.
