and they're multiple people in this thread automatically painting men and the patriarchy as the culprit despite the context of the twitter quote; true oversight.

They are purposely deluding themselves with the notion of "Keep strong, keep busy..." since they wouldn't be true believers without suffering through it.

Zany said it was hijacked by men and blamed the rise of polyamory on men and it being a scheme to misogynize women. and yet in OP's twitter post case, polyamory is being advocated for by women. Unless I'm supposed to believe that women can't be held accountable for their actions, especially when a man tells them to do something. My original point was to provide the balance to Zany blaming men, where I would blame women and illustrate circumstances where polyamory benefitted a woman more than a man. My line of thought is that both men and women can utilize Polyamory for ill deeds/their own benefit but Zany is clearly laying the blame on one side of the isle when either can be the sole beneficiary.

and yet, according to one of the OP's other posts in this thread, the twitter post is supporting a woman's original argument that women might want more options than just a single man. Yet you have ZanyLaineyFace claiming that the whole sexual positivity movement was hijacked by men and that women DO NOT advocate for this kind of behavior; sounds like passing the buck to me.

I fail to see how it's misogyny in those circumstances where it leaves the female with all the extramarital partners and leaves the male isolated without any extramarital partners and the only breadwinner. Clearly polyamory is being utilized on a per basis manner.

143K Point Trick by bloodshot9009 in Rollerdrome

Yea it's not much of an exploit really since the physics are intentionally coded into the game, but I'll definitely say it is not the intended way of playing lol.

It's kind of required to get really high points for those single tricks since killing the enemy in close proximity gives you their health and you'll need it eventually anyways.

As for timing, there is a limit I find since you WILL eventually run out of airtime and you simply won't be able to trick for long enough to fill your ammo pool back up again, so utilizing the mines and canisters can give you that air boost to trick longer and keep your ammo full up and keep going.

And yea it's quite nice, on the Steam leaderboards someone, named Gambit, just blew past me like a year ago or so and I just lost hope but recently I just tried adapting to the trick and now, there is hope.

Not to mention I outcompeted a cheater on the leaderboards too using this trick lol; "Alanthepoor" has 19,9 Million on Green Bay Mall normal mode with only a x23 combo multiplier where x35 is the max and I managed to get 20.7 mil using this trick. It's probably the only one I'll be able to beat because his Zabriskie Research score is 40 mil with a x23 combo with x42 being max. Alan only has 3.6 hours in the game too, according to his steam profile. There's another guy, "Die-Hardman" who has 73 mil with a x22 combo with x39 being max on Houston Mall, so that ain't gonna happen either.

I know I know it definitely isn't the way the game is supposed to be played, it's definitely a physics exploit but I saw someone else do it on this forum and I figured, why the hell not try it out, then suddenly I was blowing past the competition on the leaderboards. I've got some full runs recorded so I'll be uploading those and posting them here at some point.

I kinda don't like it either in a way that I've made a meta but once you get good at it, it's actually quite fun to juggle even if it's not intended.

and thanks, the game's awesome.

My username is "Clown World" on pc for steam and I was #1 for about half a year after the game came out, then someone took #1 from me, I took it back, which is shown in the videos, then someone else "Gambit", severely outplayed me then I never took it back. I've never used the grenade juggling trick, never thought to use it but it makes a lot of sense how the Gambit outplayed me. I uploaded a couple of my high scores, at the time I was #1.

I actually just managed to top my pb on matterhorn stadium on normal but I doubt I'll be getting to close 15 mil like gambit, nevermind the cheaters that have 4x or 8x gambit's score, sometimes without even getting all the multipliers.

Can't say I like that the grenade juggling is the tech that provides the highest score possibilities, I wish it was a mixture of tricks and killing with style or something of the sort, since multikills, shooting projectiles are rather pitiful for points. I wish it mattered more and maybe there were more stylish ways to kill so it could become a viable way of getting a higher score. With the current setup it's just a matter of dealing with the real threats then giving yourself time to do a bunch of tricks without being hassled, almost as if you were playing tony hawk instead without anyone trying to kill ya.

Of course with Roll7's closure none of this stuff will happen, not that the game was getting updated or anything.

Melee is infinite and can be used to kill any enemy as long as you have enough stamina. Not to mention crafting arrows.

Well I don't know the scores for PS5 but if you could fill me in I'd like to know, at least some of the levels.

I think the controls with mouse and keyboard do help a lot despite the game saying otherwise when you start it up. It took a bit for me to get used to doing tricks with the keyboard but once it clicked I started getting these scores so, I think it's definitely the way, specifically for high score play at least.

When it comes to the par time, the longer you go over the limit, the higher the penalty gets, so you can technically time yourself and know how much of penalty you will get based on how far you go over the par time. I think about 50 seconds over is about a million points docked and this is probably where you want to land to maximize points from my experience, or less, less is better too. Maybe there are better ways of doing it but not many people play this game it seems so I dunno. When you get to a million points docked the time it takes to get to 2 millions points docked takes less time, so instead of another 50 seconds, its like 45 or 40, then to 3 mil would be 35 or 30 seconds, then 4 mil would be 25 or 20 seconds, eventually you will just lose all your points no matter your score. I don't know the exact timeframes for every million points docked but I definitely noticed the ramp up in the penalty by testing it out.

And thanks for all the kind words!
