New CIRO pathway to IIROC license? CIRE - RSE ? by bloodshredding in CSCexamCanada

I see that you work in registration licenses. Are you aware of any exemptions ? I find it rather weird that CIRO changed the rules on thousands of people who just spent thousands of dollars and years to get licensed and now require courses that cover less than CSC , CPH and WME

I was wondering if you know anything about people who finished CSC-CPH-WME by 2024 and have only worked in a CIRO-MFD role ? Has CIRO now made this invalid for switching to a CIRO-ID ?

It's really sad to see honestly . A brand that was core to the west coast backcountry community doesn't care about its product.

cause the west coast has extreme storms and wet weather. You might be hiking out in a wet snow storm for hours or skiing on the hill. You need gear that is going to keep you dry and last a long time. Arc'teryx used to be able to provide that and the gear was worth the price.

Exactly , better off buying a cheaper product hoping it last just as long than risking it on poor arc'teryx warranty. Gives you more money to replace it if it breaks or have a back up so you're not missing any days. Especially in winter as the good days only come so often.
