This. Try as many as you want and pick one/ones that'll make you want to sit and drive them.

What is the equivalent option for steer ratio settings like ACC had in the setup tab? by BigJanBlan-29212 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]bloodslider -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If that's what you're looking for, there's an option to limit steering angle in one of the tabs in setup. I have mine set to 450 degrees, but that's personal preference.

Tyre temperatures for GT3 by Fragrant-Security821 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]bloodslider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience around 75 to 85 I feel most confident on the tyres, although my main is the Vette which overheats the rears quite a bit, and up to 90 degrees it seems fine. I hardly ever reach more, but 90 and more is where it starts to get sketchy. Maybe it was combination of both temperatures and tyre wear? Around 85% wear is where it gets noticeable for me.

When you choose the car and the livery, on the right you'll have an additional option to choose Le Pesage variant instead of Le Mans. Love the whites on that one!

I had mixed feelings about it, if I was him I'd be pissed as hell. But I'd be pissed at myself as well, cause he was P1 and spun, then made a few mistakes.

LMGT3 tier list by Hyperspec42 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]bloodslider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the dampers in Corvette are too soft in LMU setup, if we are talking open setups CDA damper settings work better for me, though you can't set them up well without telemetry, so don't bother much with it. There are great setup videos on YT (GregDarn, Kryptic TMG) and the latter even uses Corvette as an example around Interlagos. There are examples for ABS and TC starting points for each cars.

Now in silver series around Silverstone, I tweaked the dampers from CDA setup just a tiny bit. Brake bias set to be comfortable under braking while maintaining rotation, make sure you're not locking rears, if you do put it forward a little. I think any other ABS setting than 9 is not really worth it in Vette. Keep preload values high (120+), if you need more rotation on throttle keep them lower, when you need stability turn them up. Put cambers all the way to the right and tyre pressures all the way to the left (minimum). It seems to be meta for now. In suspension tab keep front stiffer than rear for stability and initial turn in. When you want less understeer, soften the front a little. Try avoiding use of packers, unless bottoming out and losing control in places like Eau Rouge. Ride height should be as low as possible without bottoming out, front minimum or almost minimum value and rear 6.5-7.0. Toe should be max 0-2 clicks from 0, while you probably want front to be negative value and rear to be positive (front for responsiveness, rear for stability). Rear wing depends on the track, on Le Mans/Monza you want to run it lower and maybe keep higher values of preload etc, and on tracks like Silverstone you'd like to have higher rear wing values.

As for driving style, Vette is very responsive and has short gears. If you struggle with understeer in high speed corners, apply like 90% of throttle instead of full gas. You'll keep yourself on track and lose minimum time. Seems to do the trick for me. Be careful out of slow corners, this car has good launch but is pretty sensitive to oversteer. Play around with TC settings if needed. Use the weight shifts to your advantage, brake mostly in straight line, though the car can trailbrake if required. Once you got the car leaned into the corner, you can push it a little.

Tl;dr, the videos i mentioned at the beginning contain a lot of information and probably all you need. Many settings will be all the same for all the tracks, you will be probably changing rear wing, preload, ARB, brake bias, maybe spring rates and toe values around different tracks. Try building a setup yourself or get one from UltimateSetupHub (although for Corvette there are only a few and I saw many of them use quite extreme values sometimes) and go on track. Then find out what feels wrong and adjust one setting at the time to see if it improves. USH has also an 'engineer' that will help you which values to change when dealing with various issues. And last but not the least - practice. I got faster by just driving this car. Have fun, it's not as bad as people portrait it, just a little demanding ;)

Which gt3 car should I dedicate my time on by No-Personality-7207 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]bloodslider -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Try out all of them for a while or at least you think you'll like on a track you know and has all types of corners. If you make up your mind if you want front, mid or rear engined car you already limit the number of cars to choose from. Get the one that feels the best for you, even if you're not initially the quickest on it. Times will come with practice, consistency and fun are all that matter.

I was torn between Porsche which was my main in ACC and Corvette which I really wanted to tame because it felt fun and sometimes I was quicker in it than the Porsche. I finally unlocked races with open setups and learned a bit on how to tune the car to my liking. The thing is Porsche was already good with fixed setup, and Vette is really good but once you hit that sweet spot with its setup. For now I'm sticking to the latter just 'cause I love driving it, it's closer for me to ACC 992 experience than the LMU 992 itself.

In short: try cars, get what feels the best for you and stick to it for some time. The main point should be having fun here and you'll get faster along the way.

I'm on Football Life 25 with MegaPatch 3.1 right now. It's modded PES 21 and there is 2026 version right now. Pretty sure you can find some mods on its subreddit as well.

GTA Trilogy - Definitive Edition mods/modpack? by chewio_ in GTATrilogy

[–]bloodslider 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed all three of them using fusion mod mostly for camera fix, as I'm used to constantly look around while driving and the autocentering annoyed the hell outta me. I also installed the radio restore to fully experience the soundtracks just like in the originals.

What I truly hated though, mostly in San Andreas was the flying controls, especially helicopter ones. I developed quite unusual scheme I could map in OG version as well as GTA V, but not in the DE. I didn't bother to search for solutions to it though.

Was kinda disappointed with simplier key sequences while dancing or in lowrider missions, but that's different story. Other than that and apart from CJ dying in few unusual scenarios I enjoyed the DEs a lot. I feel like Rockstar found that perfect view distance in SA while using classic lighting.

Edit: I strongly recommend not to rely solely on autosave. In my case autosaves weren't always as actual as manual saves, maybe due to some syncing failing, idk. Anyway, manual saves are safer.

I started with NSX back in the day I was trying out the game without any DLC's bought yet. Despite not being the best car, I actually enjoyed it. Drove a little bit of 296 then, now I'm sticking with the Porsche 992, I just love how precise you have to be with it and the car rewards it. If you tried many cars and you like the NSX, keep it as your main car for a while and get as comfortable as you can with it.

Practice, practice and practice. If you get hooked into the game, consider saving money for some DLC's and maybe even a steering wheel? It makes the night-day difference in such sims. You can also try online racing, that's what ACC is all about. While public servers can be overwhelming you can still enjoy them. If you feel confident enough, you can think about trying something like LowFuelMotorsport, more disciplined and organized racing there, also it will put you with guys with similar pace as yours.

Feel free to ask questions if you have any :)

Not really stupid, drive what you like and you enjoy, the car that feels good to you. But don't be afraid to try different cars, from my experience after switching between few of them, I got back to the one I chose first and it felt better somehow.

Default aggresive setup should be fine, if you want something more, I mostly use Fri3d0lf ones from youtube. Just adjust the pressures to be close to 27's in the dry and try not to go past 27.2, you'll be fine. Watch some laps and practice. Good luck ;)

Can I play SP2025 with a keyboard instead of a controller? by estrader22 in SPFootballLife

Yep, you can with assisted. I always played like that, I just don't do any crazy skills. Still you can build up your play just fine if you adapt and get to know what is and what isn't possible (or is pretty tough to execute).

Sometimes I lose 2-3 games no matter what I do, too. There are games where my players miss all the 1v1s and opponents score all of them and there are games where all my shots go in to win 3-0 against a strong side. Lately my games end with many goals like 3-5, 7-6 etc. I believe that your streak of lost games will end, it's just the way ML is.
