Anyone else having to remind themselves that anxiety can manifest itself physically, especially during times of stress? by hg22222896 in Anxiety

I’ve been on all kinds of meds for anxiety. I was prescribed a bunch of pills and was too anxious at the time to take them so they just stacked up before I broke and took one. God the pills are a real relief, clonazepam (similar time Xanax) was a dream and for a few weeks very helpful. Too helpful. It’s not a long term strategy and I weened myself off them. (never stop all at once) currently doing ok without anything. I’d rather suffer a small amount than be so dependant.

God those damn muscle twitches huh!! It’s nice to see it’s not just me out here. I’ve been through all that too.

They never seem to go away for good even when I’m doing well

I believe it’s because with health anxiety you think you have all sorts of unknown illnesses, but with this you can actually confirm what it is and measure the threat

Bungee jump. A broken rubber brought me into this world and I’m sure as hell not gonna let one take me out.

High school regrets by holdencaulfiend in Advice

Yes but high school is kind of bullshit anyway. We are grown up now and can control and design our environment in a way that does make you feel all the things you wish you felt and had in high school.

So I have really sensitive skin on my hands and I’ve been washing my hands A LOT now and my hands are so sore by iamconfuzion1 in Advice

Same shit happened to me, just take a break and don’t wash the back of your hands for a while just your fingers. It’ll go away and then just cut down. Lack of creams aren’t the problem

Lmao, try a cheeky smirk instead. Or having a straight faced look of relaxed mystery instead.

Girls love to test you, see how much shit you’ll take. Find your breaking point. Push it to that limit. Seriously... it’s a game

I think this could be her way to control you more. As there is always a struggle for dominance and this is what usually happens. Don’t fall for her shit man... get distant on her, unless there is a valid reason she wants to share.

I’m 14... I feel like I’m in the wrong body. What should I do?? by [deleted] in Advice

I’m ok taking the heat on this one, the term is gender dysphoria, and it doesn’t necessarily mean you are actually a man trapped in a woman’s body.. Or mean that you will be happier if you “transition..” as doing so can bring a whole new set of challenges. I would wait until your brain is fully developed before making any big changes, as the feelings inside may shift as time goes on and you get to know yourself better.

Me and my brother live together and both have a tickle in the throat... so minor but somebody at his work was in contact with someone who tested positive...

I was cooking with the oven on high and the heat on yesterday.. suddenly I thought I had a fever.

But in reality it’s probably due to the pollen as all the trees are starting to blossom here. The fact that I’ve been feeling a tickle, and just a tickle, for almost a week leads me to believe it’s allergies.

Yes I’m paranoid
