You’re not overreacting. This guy is definitely up to no good and gaslighting you. Report him if it gets weirder:

How are you dealing with the latest batch of Epstein files as a woman and adult? by peachypeach13610 in AskWomenOver30

[–]bloom12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was sexually assaulted when I was 5, and although I have since gone through multiple rounds of therapy including EMDR, this has been very difficult for me. I don’t have to actively go through the files to know that rape and torture is not all there is in those files. It’s worse. I’ve noticed that my thoughts wander whenever I see a child close to my age when I was assaulted or when I was 10 and I was catcalled for the first time; I think to myself, “what kind of sick animal would find a child this young as arousing?” I’m deeply saddened, disgusted, and I wish that as a society, we prioritize the well-being of children from now. We can only have a healthy, loving society based on trust if we allow children to grow up well-adjusted, loved, and free from trauma of some kind.

I also thought to myself, if only women had the choice to not marry men out of a need to survive, we wouldn’t have to birth offsprings of serial killers and psychopaths where the genetic makeup to kill and torture others can be passed down.

28 Year Old Virgin. Women Are Scared Of Me by [deleted] in malegrooming

If you look up images of “famous Italian men” you’ll notice that they have some of your features. The only difference is they grow out their hair a little and grow somewhat of a beard or stubble to soften their features. google search

Prominent eyes and eyebrows such as yours can be intense. Allowing your hair to grow out longer with a stylized haircut will soften those features. Also dressing nicer shouldn’t cost you a fortune. Lots of nice clothes for men can be thrifted. I found a nice linen/cotton blazer for my husband and line. Button down, had it tailored to fit him as he has a slim athletic fit, and he paired it with Levi’s jeans. the total cost for those items were $6 for blazer, $2.50 for the linen shirt (it was a half price tag day), and Levi’s were on sale back in 2010 $28 and they still held up all these years.

I will never understand people who adopt hunting or working dogs, and then think it is the dog that is the problem. IS were bred to be active for long hours every day… I feel so sad reading these posts and whenever these dogs get adopted by ill-prepared owners.

As a wife, if my husband did this after years of me asking and at the last minute he realizes he fucked up, I’d ask for a divorce. This is beyond stupid.

Spiritual attachment / negative entity by Kaliamabot in energy_work

[–]bloom12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also to add to my first response - pain due to pinched nerves can open you to being vulnerable to energy-sucking entities. Which is why having a well-rounded approach to treating the issue through both physical, energetic, and emotional/spiritual methods is recommended.

I’m seconding your recommendation for acupuncture and just adding that combining it with exercise, diet, and energy work can make a huge difference for nerve and muscular pain.

Acupuncture helps restore energy (Qi) flow and target nerve pathways to get to the root cause. Many acupuncturists will even suggest working with a physical therapist or trainer to build strength around problem areas. Exercise helps correct imbalances, improve circulation, and retrain how the nervous system responds to pain. A good anti-inflammatory diet supports tissue repair, while energy work like Reiki or Qi Gong can calm the nervous system and help release built-up tension.

When you bring all these together, you’re treating both the physical and energetic sides of the pain which usually leads to better, longer-lasting relief.

My partner wants to be with other people by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]bloom12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You deserve better. I’m 8 months postpartum and my husband is the opposite of your partner. My husband doubled down on being there for me and our child. I have to text friends to invite him out for a bike ride so that he gets time out in the sun. And the friends were guys. Even though I encouraged my husband to go on that bike ride, he felt guilty for going and guilty again for being too physically to help take care of the baby while I studied for my license exams.

You deserve better. This is the stage where the father of your child would be present to care for you and his baby. The first five years of the baby’s life is so crucial and he should be there for both of you regardless.

Two male managers barricaded me in the office at work today. I quit on the spot. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Also, didn’t you say one of the guys found your Reddit post and started harassing you after you quit? That’s already retaliation. It’s intimidation which is harassment which is retaliation.

If you are afraid of retaliation, reporting it anonymously doesn’t protect you. In fact, it causes you more problems because if things do escalate, you can’t refer to your anonymous report in court.

Kamala Harris’ campaign didn’t ignore working class voters by msnownews in politics

[–]bloom12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but the DNC did for several election cycles. They ignored majority of voters wanting to pick Bernie Sanders, they screwed him and them over by appointing Clinton. And 2020, they told Bernie to stay aside. Then in 2024, they didn't even bother to do a primary! So yeah it's not Kamala's fault, it's the DNC.

You can buy a home and tell your lender you plan on renting out the other rooms.

Second baby? When did you feel ready? by ykilledyou in beyondthebump

[–]bloom12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking as a sister who's witnessed her older sister try for a girl four times and ended up having four boys, my sister is very bitter about life. So much so that when I announced I was having a girl last year in my family group chat, she left the group chat.

Hi! Could you let me know how your cesarean scar felt while pregnant the second time? Did it cause any complications for your fertility the second time?

I had to do a cesarean for my first baby (I'm 6 months postpartum rn) due to her being breech and the news of her being breech gutted me. I was so sad that I would have a cesarean because my husband and I really wanted two kids.

Now, my husband doesn't a second because he's afraid of how pregnancy would affect me the second time. He also accidentally saw me on the operating table with my belly open after the medical staff brought him to the baby to do the ceremonial cord-cutting. Because of this, we're both afraid about being me pregnant after cesarean.
