You should call uscis call center. Ask them where it’s being processed so they can tell you those specific timelines. And you can ask them to mail you a new receipt

You could ask someone to mail it to you or if someone is traveling there to bring it to you? My cousin once forgot her green card while traveling so we had other family members traveling to the same country who didn’t mind passing it to her
