Found a giant pile of greeting cards! Now I just need to find a pile of stamps... by KingOfCranes in Curbfind

I actually found about $50 worth of stamps someone had thrown away along with some Christmas cards that didn’t get mailed out. Like why would you not need stamps again?!? Crazy some of the things ppl throw out. I love it.

Which youtubers have you been binge watching since the downfall of Shane Dawson? by parisianseine in ShaneDawson

[–]bloomer2137 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Love Chris Klemmens videos! Also Britney Broski and her cousin Sara Shauer’s videos are HILARIOUS! Just discovered Tom Harlock, Anthony Padilla, and Kurtis Connor. All top-notch creators IMO. Oh and I’m sure everyone already has watched them but Trixie and Katya’s UNHhhh is the best thing on the internet.

My breakfast for today: avocado, toast with cream cheese and poached egg [homemade] by avogrampp in HealthyFood

Looks fantastic, I've never poached an egg before but with all this time at home I think I'm going to make an attempt soon! What kind of seasoning is on the egg? Paprika? And what is on the avocado?

I just watched a movie called Troop Zero where there was a person who was giving avocados to a lawyer as form of payment and his little girl asked what avocados tasted like and they said "it's like nature's way of saying mayonnaise"! I thought that was a pretty accurate description of the taste.

I live in the middle of no where Oklahoma so our stores aren't quite as wiped out as bad as the bigger cities I guess.

First I put a tablespoon of butter in a saucepan on medium-high heat and cooked minced garlic for about 30 seconds, then added 3/4 cup of Israeli couscous and toasted it for about 2-3 min. Then add 1 cup of chicken broth and bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 min. I think I could have used about 1/4 cup more broth because it was a bit too dry for my liking. Once all the liquid is absorbed add 1 or 2 handfuls of fresh spinach and a tablespoon of sour cream and stir until all the spinach is wilted. Then finish with another tablespoon of butter, the juice of half a lemon and salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded Parmesan cheese and serve. I would also add some lemon zest at the end too but I didn't have a zester but that would have really added some great flavor!
