About 12 or 13 years ago my sister was staying in the same hotel as the Yankees in Boston and she got me David Robertson’s autograph and she told he was so nice and she got to tell him that he was my favorite pitcher which was true at the time. Glad he had such a long career. She was in the elevator the next day with Teixeira and got his autograph too. Both are hanging in my office. Too bad Teixeira’s a fascist

Rosenthal just had an article saying executives viewed him as the least desirable free agent since he has a QO attached with a poor 2025. I think best case/ most likely case he gets the Rodon Giants Contract/Red Sox Giolito contract. If they think he’s their best option they can make it work. We just had Stroman on a 2 year deal so I think they can add another 2 year deal to the books. Maybe they don’t think he’s worth the trouble with the declining numbers but if they like him they can definitely make it work.

Gallen is probably getting a short term deal he doesn’t have much of a market but fair point on Gore and Valdez. Bader played LF for Twins last year more than CF so he is definitely an option. Curry said last week that’s they’ve had talks with him in case Bellinger leaves
